AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

AND IT CAME TO PASS

Greetings precious children of the only Living God and welcome back to The Three Minute Word and our study of the Book of Isaiah. Before we move forward, please take a moment and share these teachings as widely as possible. The beautiful fall picture today was provided by our friends and friends of this Ministry, Bob and Kathy French. This was taken from a height of land overlooking Rangely Lake in Rangeley, Maine.
Before we delve into the Book of Isaiah, I want to plead with my fellow citizens of the Kingdom of God to quit being so easily deceived concerning COVID and all that is associated with COVID. The vaccine and boosters are safe and very effective, masks are effective, and remdesivir is not killing people. Of course, the list goes on and on of just outright myths (lies) all to the negative. And, no, the vaccine mandates and the proof of vaccine card are not a mark of the beast. The Bible is full of commands that God gave to regulate the lives of His people including health laws. Our government and governments around the world have laws that regulate our lives including health laws. None of these violate God’s moral law nor violate freedom of religion nor forbid any Biblical commands. Finally, I find it interesting that the anti-vaccination, anti-mask people use the same argument as the prochoice people. The prochoice people say it is their body and they can have an abortion if they want to. The problem is that it not them that dies when they choose to have an abortion. Likewise, those who refuse the vaccine and/or the mask are not just endangering themselves but their fellow man whom they are supposed to love (agape). Please get the vaccination, when they ask you to social distance, social distance, and when they (whether it is the government or Walmart) ask you to wear a mask, wear the mask, without any sass. Now, let’s turn our attention to our Bible text in the Book of Isaiah, continuing to read aloud, yes, out loud.
Isaiah 7:1-3 (KJV)
1 And it came to pass in the days of Ahaz the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, that Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up toward Jerusalem to war against it, but could not prevail against it.
2 And it was told the house of David, saying, Syria is confederate with Ephraim. And his heart was moved, and the heart of his people, as the trees of the wood are moved with the wind.
3 Then said the LORD unto Isaiah, Go forth now to meet Ahaz, thou, and Shearjashub thy son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the fuller’s field;
As you may know, upon the death of Solomon the United Kingdom of Israel divided between Jeroboam (ten tribes) and Rehoboam (Judah and Benjamin). Rehoboam is a son of Solomon and grandson of David. King Ahaz (Southern Kingdom) is of the line of King David and King Pekah is of the lineage of Jeroboam (Northern Kingdom). Why was the kingdom divided? As always division occurs due to sin.
1 Kings 11:9-13 (ESV)
9 And the LORD was angry with Solomon, because his heart had turned away from the LORD, the God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice
10 and had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods. But he did not keep what the LORD commanded.
11 Therefore the LORD said to Solomon, “Since this has been your practice and you have not kept my covenant and my statutes that I have commanded you, I will surely tear the kingdom from you and will give it to your servant.
12 Yet for the sake of David your father I will not do it in your days, but I will tear it out of the hand of your son.
13 However, I will not tear away all the kingdom, but I will give one tribe to your son, for the sake of David my servant and for the sake of Jerusalem that I have chosen.”
Turning away from the Lord is never a good idea. However, we can see that God is keeping Covenant with King David even several generations later and when his seed have sinned. God will do the same for your descendants and mine as well. Jeroboam is not of the lineage of King David or King Solomon but is a servant.
1 Kings 11:31-36 (ESV)
31 And he said to Jeroboam, “Take for yourself ten pieces, for thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, ‘Behold, I am about to tear the kingdom from the hand of Solomon and will give you ten tribes
32 (but he shall have one tribe, for the sake of my servant David and for the sake of Jerusalem, the city that I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel),
33 because they have forsaken me and worshiped Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians, Chemosh the god of Moab, and Milcom the god of the Ammonites, and they have not walked in my ways, doing what is right in my sight and keeping my statutes and my rules, as David his father did.
34 Nevertheless, I will not take the whole kingdom out of his hand, but I will make him ruler all the days of his life, for the sake of David my servant whom I chose, who kept my commandments and my statutes.
35 But I will take the kingdom out of his son’s hand and will give it to you, ten tribes.
36 Yet to his son I will give one tribe, that David my servant may always have a lamp before me in Jerusalem, the city where I have chosen to put my name.
Jesus is of the lineage of King David and that is the name (Jesus) the Father has put in Jerusalem. King David will again rule over Jerusalem and a United Kingdom of Israel (Ezekiel 7:24). Jesus will rule over the whole earth including Jerusalem and Israel. We will see this in the time of the Millennial Reign and beyond.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as your Bible Teacher and a Prophetic Voice in your life I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, doubt it not, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus’ name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
