FROM THE PROPHETS CHAMBER – WEEK FORTY-SIX
WHERE ARE THE MIRACLES?
Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to “From the Prophets Chamber”. Before we plunge into the lesson for today, please take a moment and share these teachings as widely as possible expand our reach with the Truth. Thank you for sharing. The title of this teaching is a question; “Where are the Miracles?” To explore this, we will look at the account of Gideon in Judges chapter six. We will see a picture (these are all through Scripture) of the descent into bondage and the redemption which always comes from a remnant that God raises up. Repentance always precedes redemption. The Scripture central to our study is the following.
Judges 6:13 (KJV)
13 And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt? but now the LORD hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites. (Bold added)
The pattern we see in this account and the return of miracles is the same over and over in Scripture and is the same route for us today, individually, and as a Church. So, what caused the miracles to stop?
Judges 6:1 (KJV)
1 And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD: and the LORD delivered them into the hand of Midian seven years.
Whose children did evil? Whose children were delivered in the hands of their enemies? God’s children! Today, that would be you and me. The children of God have done evil in His sight and we can be delivered individually, and as a nation into the hands of our enemies which are totally controlled by devils. You notice they were delivered in the hand of Midian seven years. Think of the judgments of God like those in an earthly courtroom and the judged decrees a certain punishment. When judgment falls upon a nation, it falls upon the just and unjust alike, however, God makes a way for the just (righteous). Think about Daniel and the three Hebrews, think of Nehemiah, and others.
Liberation is not automatic at the end of the sentence. If evil continues another judgment is rendered and bondage may last longer. Only one thing short circuits judgment and that is true repentance. This is true heartfelt and action evidenced repentance for the individual. For a nation the key is repentance by God’s people. Without God’s people there would be extreme chaos such as will be seen in the Tribulation period. There is a judgment for the heathen. They are subject to the same laws as are we like sowing and reaping. Their judgments also come in the time to follow this life at the White Throne Judgment and in Hell. Right now, we are talking about judgment upon God’s people due to the evil they are doing. There came a time when God’s people cried out to God.
Judges 6:6-10 (KJV)
6 And Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites; and the children of Israel cried unto the LORD.
7 And it came to pass, when the children of Israel cried unto the LORD because of the Midianites,
8 That the LORD sent a prophet unto the children of Israel, which said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I brought you up from Egypt, and brought you forth out of the house of bondage;
9 And I delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all that oppressed you, and drave them out from before you, and gave you their land;
10 And I said unto you, I am the LORD your God; fear not the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but ye have not obeyed my voice.
Many Prophets including myself have been speaking this message in this land. When will God’s people have ears to hear? Next we see an angel of the Lord (sent of God) approach Gideon.
Judges 6:12-14 (KJV)
12 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him, and said unto him, The LORD is with thee, thou mighty man of valour.
13 And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt? but now the LORD hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.
14 And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?
You know the rest of the story, Gideon raised an army of 32,000, which the Lord shrunk to 10,000, and finally to 300 men. God was about to do a miracle but Gideon and the 300 had to believe that God would give them the victory. Miracles are about to return here in America to the remnant of 300 which God is raising up. These will spark an awakening of a magnitude never seen before, then the end will come.

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
