A WELL OF TRUTH
ARE YOU BLESSED?

Greetings to all and I trust all of you had a beautiful Christmas celebration. Although family, food, and gifts are a large part of Christmas celebrations in America, we Christians must purpose to focus on the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ (Messiah). After all, the word Christmas means a celebration of Christ who is the Messiah. We really need to celebrate with a whole heart for without a Messiah we would be destined for a devils Hell for eternity. All of us must discipline ourselves to focus on the Kingdom of God and His righteousness (Jesus, the Word) and not just have an honorable mention when we bless the food. When we are actually doing (not just quoting) the following verse we can expect an abundant overflow in all of our life, spiritual and natural.
Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Please take a moment and share these teachings as widely as possible to expand the reach of the Truth. Thank you for sharing. Now, let’s dive into our teaching for today. Continue reading out loud, yes, out loud, you know why.
Psalm 1:1-3 (KJV)
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
Part of the title for this teaching asks the question, “Are you Blessed?” If you know in your heart that you are seeing no evidence in your life of the Blessing, perhaps the answer to why not will be found today. Most Christians will readily confess that they are blessed but what is the fruit, the evidence? Perhaps one would say, “I’m saved and on my way to Heaven”, and that of course is Blessing number one. What about our finances, our health, and our ministry?
As we meditate this Psalm above, we might ask ourselves, from whence comes our counsel? Do we hang out with sinners predominately? I am not talking about the workplace environment but in our day-to-day life. Sinners are sinners, it matters not if they are family or not. Do we tolerate and sit with the scornful?
2 Peter 3:3 (KJV)
3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
Ungodly counsel, the ways of sinners, and listening to those who scorn our faith will hinder the Blessing in our lives. All words are seeds and if allowed into our thinking they will bear the fruits of unrighteousness. The ungodly, sinners, scoffers all sow seeds of unrighteousness, we must not allow any of it to be sown into our hearts, believed, and be spoken from our mouths. We are to delight in the Word of the Lord and meditate on those Words. Those Words will bear the fruits of righteousness. Listen to Jesus.
Luke 6:45 (KJV)
45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
What are we putting in abundance into our hearts? Now, let’s look at the third verse again, this is the reward or the benefit of not doing verse one, and doing verse two.
Psalm 1:3 (KJV)
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
As I finish for this week, see what the Holy Spirit said through Joshua and Jeremiah on this matter.
Joshua 1:8 (KJV)
8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Look carefully, by the choices we make, we not the Lord, made our way prosperous and have good success. Of course, the Lord is involved but we first must make the choice and meditate day and night in the Word of God.
Jeremiah 17:7-8 (KJV)
7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.
8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
Am I, are you, trusting the Lord or man? I choose the Lord!
Lord willing, I will return with a fresh Word from the Throne next week. Remember we love you and there is nothing you can do about it.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as your Bible Teacher and a Prophetic Voice in your life I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, doubt it not, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus’ name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
