AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

SNARED AND TAKEN
Greetings dear and precious people of God, Kings and Priests in the Kingdom of God. Welcome back to this ongoing study of the Bible Book of Isaiah. What a wonderful Book offering guidance and wonderful insights. Before I move on, please take a moment and share these teachings as widely as possible. Thank you for sharing. The featured picture today was taken last winter at our home in Oakland Maine, but I suspect the picture is much the same now. Needless to say, that is not our view here in south Texas. Now let’s launch into our Bible Study continuing to read out loud as we review our primary Isaiah text.
Isaiah 8:13-15 (KJV)
13 Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.
14 And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
15 And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken.
As you will recall the Lord speaking through the Prophet Isaiah and for a brief time through King Ahaz is telling His people (not the heathen, His people) how they have sinned and what the consequences of that sin will be, and soon. God has always had His Prophets to express the thoughts of God in the earth. As we explore this Book, we find this recurring pattern of serving God and then turning to other gods, lack of repentance due to hardness of heart and stiffness of neck, judgment, then a return to God and so on. We see this in Church history as well. Judgment allowed by God does not follow a single warning generally but a multitude of warnings from many directions but then the time comes when justice must be done.
We allow, even invite, the curse into our lives by unrepented sin. This is what is happening in the Scripture we are studying of ancient Israel (and Judah), in the United States, and around the world currently. Those of you who have followed this ministry for years know that the Lord has me bring the sin and the need for repentance before His people, the Church. Unfortunately, the demons, the devil, have done a good job since the Garden of Eden in training us to not look at ourselves but at others as the problem. Dear ones it is us. We are the ruling authority in the earth, there is no authority higher than that delegated by God/Jesus to the Church. We have the keys of the Kingdom; we have full authority to bind (not allow or restrict) and to lose (allow) in the earth. The Lord will back our decisions good or bad.
As we are all too well aware there is a pestilence or plague in the earth called COVID-19 which has now killed over 800,000 persons in the United States alone and over 5 million worldwide. Who gave this (just one of many) pestilence permission to rage in this way? Who has supreme authority in the earth? Why won’t the Church come together and stand as one man against the various manifestations in the earth including COVID? Pride the same problem the devils have and we, the Church, got it from them. The way out for the children of God in our Isaiah text and today is always repentance. Not repentance by the world but the Church, the children of God. Let me remind you of a Prophetic Word the Lord gave me on March 15, 2020 when this Pandemic had come into plain view.
- False faith leads to humiliation. The corona virus is going to explode with fury with many deaths and the lack of faith in the Church will be exposed to an even greater extent and will be humiliated, ashamed.
- Go to your knees before me, before the devil brings you to your knees. This has happened over and over to my people and I had to allow it because of rebellion against the Word.
- My people do not need to suffer, come out of bondage, come out of idolatry, walk in the Truth.
- My people love to quote 2 Chronicles 7:14 but they do not do it.

14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
- Repent and fear not.
God’s people have not repented and appear quite oblivious to the need for repentance. This virus is mutating (perverting) at will, and infecting saint and sinner alike. This will not remit and more and worse is on the way. Chapter six of Isaiah describes the condition of the Church and where America is headed. Instead of the Church responding with repentance, the exercise of authority and healing, it has responded with pride and rebellion. I know this Word will be considered by many as a hard Saying from the Lord. However, for many if heeded it may be the most loving (agape) Word you hear today.

20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
