AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

SEVEN

Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to this wonderful and empowering study of the Bible Book of Isaiah. If you are not yet a saint (a Bible term for anyone born again, saved) become one right now. Declare out loud Jesus is my Lord and I believe God raised Him from the dead. By the words of my mouth and faith in my heart I am saved, amen.
Romans 10:9-10 (KJV)
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Welcome to the Kingdom of God, welcome to the Light. The first quarter of 2022 will soon be in the history books of earth and Heaven. Don’t pass by that statement too quickly. As we examine ourselves can we confidently declare we have moved forward and moved the Kingdom of God forward or are we treading water? As I prepare to move forward, please take a moment and share these teachings as widely as possible to expand our reach with the Truth, the Word of God. Thank you for sharing. The featured picture today is of the White House the seat of the Executive Branch of government for the United States. Once again let me point out that our government (United States (Federal and States) has three branches, the Executive, the Congressional, and the Judicial). This is modeled after Heaven.
Isaiah 33:22 (KJV)
22 For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us.
This week I have featured Federal government buildings as a reminder to pray for our government (not to curse them but bless them driving out the curse) as commanded. Praying for those in authority is not optional, it is a command. After all, we (the Church) are responsible for putting them in authority.
1 Timothy 2:1-3 (KJV)
1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
Now, let’s turn our attention to our Isaiah text continuing to read out loud. Yes, out loud, and you know why.
Isaiah 11:1-3 (KJV)
1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
Yesterday we were at the front end of a dive into verse two of our primary text. I brought forth the idea of the Seven Spirits of God as mentioned in Revelation 1:4 and delineated for us here in Isaiah 11:2. There is so much to be said and I will only be scratching the surface. One of the wonderful things about the Word of God is that you cannot exhaust its content or come to the end of its revelation. If you think you have, repentance of pride is in order then move on. Many know that the number seven refers to spiritual completion. Let’s take a look at this number seven first in the Hebrew (Old Testament). Seven is defined as a cardinal number, an indefinite number. This tells us that the use of the number seven does not necessarily refer to an absolute number of things but that the thing is complete. It’s root word means to be complete according to Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary. A cardinal number is used in counting and showing how many but not the order of a thing which would be an ‘ordinal number’ such as third, tenth, etc. In the Greek (New Testament) it is also a cardinal number denoting sufficiency and its meaning is from the Hebrew word meaning sufficiency or fullness according to The Complete Word Study Dictionary – New Testament.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, doubt it not, and speak over yourself and your family in Jesus’ name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
