FROM THE PROPHETS CHAMBER – WEEK FIFTY-NINE
IS HEALING FOR EVERYONE? – PART THREE

Greetings dear and precious saints of God, the only Living God, the only God of all good now and forever more. Also, welcome back to “From the Prophets Chamber”. Today’s teaching the preceding two weeks is dealing with healing and giant errors that exist in the teachings of some parts of the organized Church concerning healing. Before I move forward, please take a moment and share these teachings as widely as possible to expand our reach with the Truth, with hope. Thank you for sharing.
As I start forward let me answer the question which is the title of this study. “Is Healing for Everyone?” YES!!! Recently an article landed in my inbox with the title “4 Reasons Why God Doesn’t Always Answer Prayers for Healing”. As we look around, we see that illnesses of all types are rampant among the heathen and saints alike. Is this a reason to conclude that God is choosing not to heal some or all of them? Of course not, for to make that conclusion, we, the ones ill, are left out of the equation, and makes Him a really bad Father. In one way or another we are responsible for our own healing and the healing of others. I will now list the four “Biblical” reasons God doesn’t always heal according to the author of the article noted above.
- “He sees the Beginning from the End”
- “He wants to save”
- “Our days are numbered”
- “His ways are not our ways”
On the 5th and 12th of March I addressed these in some detail and if you did not study those you might want to go back and evaluate those teachings to provide context and continuity. The Lord healing and providing all good things is a theme throughout Scripture. I am not aware of a single instance of God using sickness to attract someone to Himself or teach them a lesson. That is the work of demons and the devil himself.
John 10:10 (KJV)
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
As I was praying the Lord gave me series of Scriptures to present and these follow with comments.
1 John 5:14-15 (KJV)
14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
So, the questions are these, is He hearing us and is healing the will of God? Are we asking in faith, motivated by love, fully persuaded (no doubt), and led of the Holy Spirit?
2 Corinthians 1:20 (KJV)
20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
If there is even one promise of healing it is yes and amen in Him (Christ Jesus). It is not maybe!
Mark 11:22-24 (KJV)
22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
Does it say anywhere that this passage may or may not apply? What about the promise of (at least) 120 years?
Genesis 6:3 (KJV)
3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
What about this oft quoted Scripture?
1 Peter 2:24 (KJV)
24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
This is quoted from Isaiah.
Isaiah 53:4-5 (KJV)
4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Is the following Scripture, correct?
Psalm 103:2-5 (KJV)
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
How many sins are forgiven and how many diseases are healed? Where are the qualifiers?
Exodus 15:26 (KJV)
26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.
When we align with Him, is He still the Lord that heals us? Finally, review the following and know that healing is yours and inquire of the Lord as to what is hindering. Part of the answer to what stands in the way to our healing is in the last verse of this passage (also look at Mark 11:25).
Proverbs 4:20-24 (KJV)
20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
24 Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.
Lord willing, I will have another fresh Word from the Throne next week.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, doubt it not, and speak over yourself and your family in Jesus’ name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
