GIFTS – PART ONE HUNDRED-TWENTY-THREE
ARMOR OF GOD – PART SIXTY-FIVE
FEET SHOD
Greetings precious saints of God and welcome back to this powerful study of “Gifts” currently dealing with “The Armor of God”. Just to be clear, the “Gifts” I am speaking of are those coming (or that came from) from God. Please take a moment before I move forward to share these teachings as widely as possible to expand our reach with the good news, the Truth. Thank you for sharing. Let’s take just a moment to review the following familiar Scripture before moving forward.
James 1:16-17 (KJV)
16 Do not err, my beloved brethren.
17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
The Apostle James warns as a lead in to verse seventeen that we must be careful not to fall into error. He goes on to say by the leadership (Anointing) that every good and every perfect gift is from our Heavenly Father. Consider this. We may (will) receive (be presented with) gifts that are not of God, our Heavenly Father but the evil ones. Our God (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) are nothing but good and perfect, period. The demons (devil himself) are nothing but bad, period. This harmonizes with the Word of the Master Himself.
John 10:10 (KJV)
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Notice what Jesus said? The thief (demons working directly and through other people) come only to steal, kill, and destroy. Do not ever attribute any of this to our God saying that cancer, car accident, etc. was somehow God’s plan beyond our understanding, blasphemy! Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text in the Book of Ephesians continuing to read out loud. Yes, out loud, you know why.
Ephesians 6:11-15 (KJV)
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Isn’t this just wonderful that we have such superior armaments from the Heavenly Father in the spirit which is the superior realm. Today I will be focusing on having our feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. As I have pointed out many times in this study we are not to get focused on the Roman Soldier and his equipment. We are to focus on the body of knowledge that each piece of armor represents equipping us to successfully (100% of the time) wrestle our spiritual adversaries. For example, let’s not get focused on feet and walking or standing but expand our thinking to include every mode of transportation available to us today. Having the feet shod means the feet have shoes on and are prepared to travel. Put ‘car’ or ‘airplane’ in place of feet. As we do that, we see that we are to have our car in the best shape possible for us to obey the instruction of God that might involve the use of our car. The same applies if we had an airplane. We do not have to own a car or airplane or other modes of transportation but the means to readily have whatever equipment might be required to bring the good news (gospel of the Kingdom) to others.

20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
