Greetings precious saints of God and welcome back to our invigorating (refreshing, stimulating, revitalizing) study of the Bible Book of Isaiah. O what a wonderful God we serve! Remember, we love you and there is nothing you can do about it. Please take a moment and share these teachings to expand the reach of this Ministry. Thank you for sharing. You are a vital part of this Ministry. Those of you the Lord prompted to share and didn’t, you might want to start working on the answer you will give at the Judgment Seat of Christ. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text in this wonderful Book of Isaiah. Please continue reading out loud.
Isaiah 11:6-9 (KJV)
6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’ den.
9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

Now, back to our study. It seems to me that this Isaiah passage is generally referred to or taught as describing things during the 1000-year reign of Christ in the earth. However, if you go and look at passages that discuss this time period, for example in Zechariah chapter fourteen and Revelation chapter twenty you will not find this language. This is Garden of Eden talk and reality, original intent talk and reality (before that awful day of sin and death) which returns with the new heaven and new earth. Our text is not talking about the Garden of Eden but a time in the future. While it is true that during the Millennial Reign of Christ the devil is out of the way the curse remains. However, with the coming of the new heaven (atmospheric envelope about the earth) and the new earth not only is Satan and his hoards dealt with forever but there is no more curse.
Isaiah 65:17-25 (KJV)
17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.
21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.
22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
23 They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.
24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.
O dear ones, let our minds run wild with the splendid (magnificent, grand, glorious) future that awaits us. This is our future dear ones, saints of the Most High God. If you are not saved this is not your future, not even close. Notice the language of verse twenty-five this sends our minds zipping right back to our text in Isaiah eleven.

20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
