FASTENED FIRMLY IN PLACE

Greetings dear and precious children of our Father God and welcome back to The Three Minute Word blog. Please take a moment and share this teaching by every available means available to you expanding our reach with the gospel. Thank you so much for sharing. The featured picture today is me attempting a selfie at a restaurant in Corpus Christi. As you will recall we are making our way through the Bible Book of Isaiah and we will pick up again today in the 22nd chapter. Continue to read out loud in order to achieve maximum benefit and built faith to another level. Faith comes by hearing, hearing the Anointed Word (Rhema) of God.
Romans 10:17 (KJV)
17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Remember it is impossible to please God without faith.
Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
As we continue to read out loud, we will pick up our primary Bible text from the 22nd chapter of Isaiah with the 21st verse. As you will recall, I believe this passage to be Messianic, that is referring to the coming Messiah (Christ Jesus) who was and is so badly needed for all of mankind of every age.
Isaiah 22:21-25 (KJV)
21 And I will clothe him with thy robe, and strengthen him with thy girdle, and I will commit thy government into his hand: and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah.
22 And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.
23 And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father’s house.
24 And they shall hang upon him all the glory of his father’s house, the offspring and the issue, all vessels of small quantity, from the vessels of cups, even to all the vessels of flagons.
25 In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall the nail that is fastened in the sure place be removed, and be cut down, and fall; and the burden that was upon it shall be cut off: for the LORD hath spoken it.
We left off with the following verses yesterday which are cross referenced to verse twenty-two (number of Light) above.
Isaiah 9:6 (KJV)
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Jesus is the Head of the Church however governance in the earth is given to the Church, the body of Christ, the shoulders are in the body. We, the Church, individually and as groups can choose, exercise freewill as to if we follow the Head. Now, let’s look once again at what the Head of the Church said to the Church at Philadelphia and to us.
Revelation 3:7-8 (KJV)
7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
The door that Jesus has opened is that of salvation for all who will choose Him. Jesus is that sure foundation or in this case the nail that is well anchored and cannot be moved. Father God has given unto Jesus all the glory of the House of God. The door of salvation will close (nail removed) and those who have not chosen wisely (Christ as Savior) will be cut down, fall, and be cut off. Let us not be one of those!
Lord willing, I will pick up in chapter twenty-three next week. In the meantime remember that we love you and there is nothing you can do about it.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Receive the blessing in Jesus’ name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (MSG)
24 GOD bless you and keep you,
25 GOD smile on you and gift you,
26 GOD look you full in the face and make you prosper.
