FROM THE PROPHETS CHAMBER – WEEK SEVENTY-SIX
AFTER HIS KIND
Greetings dear and precious children of God, sons and daughters in the very image and likeness of Almighty God. Welcome back to our Bible Study “From the Prophets Chamber”. Please take a moment and share this teaching by every means available to you. Thank you so much for sharing. You are a great blessing to this Ministry, to those with whom you shared, and a blessing to the Lord.
The teaching today is one the Holy Spirit brings me back to often and has to do with who we are in Christ Jesus. As human beings who are we? We are not just another type, a category, of animal. We may share many similarities to animals but we are not a more evolved species of animal. It is argued that we share considerable genetic material with various species therefore we are related to that species or evolved from that species. Like us, God uses common building blocks, in this case genetic material for our physical body, for all kinds of things in creation. For example, we have 61% of our DNA in common with fruit flies, 80% with cows, and 98.4% with gorillas. Someone might conclude then that we evolved from gorillas. We hear a lot from time to time about the missing link. Yes, there is a huge missing link that makes all the difference!
Genesis 2:7 (KJV)
7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
We are three-part beings, spirit, soul (mind, will, and emotions), and body. Animals are not. Our spirit man is of God, it is God, identical to God’s spirit, and our mind (soul) is of God as part of the breath of God (Spirit) breathed into the natural body had fashioned.
1 Thessalonians 5:23 (KJV)
23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our spirit (spirit man and mind [soul]) are of God, this is the immaterial part of us and this resides in our physical body. The physical body has the DNA of the earth and our spirit has the DNA of the Father. The missing link mankind from all other created life is the spirit of God which comprises our spirit man and our soul (mind). Again, let me reiterate, God did not breath of Himself into any animal. In the beginning God established spiritual and physical laws (most likely continued since God does not change). One of these is that each kind reproduces after their own kind. In other words, one kind does not become another kind. For example, a cow has never given birth to a horse.
Genesis 1:11 (KJV)
11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
Genesis 1:24 (KJV)
24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
We actually see at least two laws here, one is that each creation has the seed for reproduction within itself, and two it reproduces after its kind. Now, let’s consider the following Truth.
Genesis 1:26 (KJV)
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Man is being created to look and act like God with full dominion in the earth. Dominion is authority, God delegated His authority as creator of all to mankind over the earth. Our physical or material body is of the earth and our spirit or immaterial body is of Heaven, of our Heavenly Father. The spirit realm or reality is superior to the physical and therefore our primary citizenship is in Heaven and our secondary is in the earth. Citizenship conveys certain obligations and benefits guided by spiritual and physical law. So, what are we? We are children of God in His image and likeness. This did not fully manifest until Christ. In other words, God did not have a physical body until Christ (which He has to this day and forever). We do not independently possess the fulness of God but the fulness of God abides within us.

20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
