AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

A FOOL PLOTS INIQUITY
Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to our study of the wonderful Bible Book of Isaiah. Today is the 81st Anniversary of that awful attack on Pearl Harbor catapulting us (America) into the Second World War. The Emperor of Japan (as was Hitler) was a fool, a heathen, a pawn and a spawn of Satan, attacking a Covenant nation. On that day in 1941 President Franklin Delano Roosevelt declared that day would live in infamy, 2403 persons were killed and another 1178 wounded at Pearl Harbor. Where were God’s people? Do these great wars need to be? Before anyone starts spouting off Matthew 24, careful observation will reveal that Jesus said we would have wars, not that they are the will of God, ordained of God. Don’t get what happens confused with the will of God. Before we delve into our Isaiah study consider this concerning war or peace for a nation. These following passages are speaking about King Solomon.
1 Kings 4:24-25 (KJV)
24 For he had dominion over all the region on this side the river, from Tiphsah even to Azzah, over all the kings on this side the river: and he had peace on all sides round about him.
25 And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan even to Beersheba, all the days of Solomon. (Bold added)
Why?
1 Kings 3:12-14 (KJV)
12 Behold, I have done according to thy words: lo, I have given thee a wise and an understanding heart; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee.
13 And I have also given thee that which thou hast not asked, both riches, and honour: so that there shall not be any among the kings like unto thee all thy days.
14 And if thou wilt walk in my ways, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as thy father David did walk, then I will lengthen thy days.
I wonder if putting God’s people (loving our neighbor) and the Kingdom of God and His way of doing things first still pleases God and would get the same result today? I hope no one is struggling with the answers, they are yes and yes. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text in the wonderful Book of Isaiah.
Isaiah 32:5-9 (HCSB)
5 A fool will no longer be called a noble, nor a scoundrel said to be important.
6 For a fool speaks foolishness and his mind plots iniquity. He lives in a godless way and speaks falsely about the LORD. He leaves the hungry empty and deprives the thirsty of drink.
7 The scoundrel’s weapons are destructive; he hatches plots to destroy the needy with lies, even when the poor says what is right.
8 But a noble person plans noble things; he stands up for noble causes.
9 Stand up, you complacent women; listen to me. Pay attention to what I say, you overconfident daughters.
It seems to me there have been bits and pieces of what we are reading for Israel (the people) down through time to this day but certainly not the fulness that is coming for them at the Second Coming of Christ. Just look at verse six above and tell if this is not been and still on prominent display and with straight faces. What deception, what wickedness. Have we seen this destruction brought by fools (many) in leadership upon the nation. The biggest fool of all is Satan (Lucifer fallen) so it is no wonder that his children would be world class fools as well. We dear ones are not of that kingdom but of the Kingdom of God and the fulness of His Wisdom is ours for the asking. There is just no comparison of our Wisdom from our Heavenly Father with the wisdom (hate to even use that word) of darkness.
Look at the shift in verse eight, the noble person stands up for promotes noble things. Look at this in The Living Bible Translation.
Isaiah 32:7-8 (TLB)
7 The smooth tricks of evil men will be exposed, as will all the lies they use to oppress the poor in the courts.
8 But good men will be generous to others and will be blessed of God for all they do.
Dear ones, justice is returning to America! Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

24 GOD bless you and keep you,
25 GOD smile on you and gift you,
26 GOD look you full in the face and make you prosper.
