AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

NEITHER A FOOL OR A SCOUNDREL
Greeting dear and precious children of God and welcome back to our study of the wonderful Bible Book of Isaiah. What a stimulating prophetic and Messianic Book. God is so good to give us His thoughts, no guessing games, it is clear if one will but look, as to what brings Heaven to earth. One might say “oh brother Wood that’s not necessary, we are stuck with this terrible here and now”. Really? That will be a great surprise to the Author of the Bible. Let’s look at just one brief passage.
Matthew 6:9-12 (HCSB)
9 “Therefore, you should pray like this: Our Father in heaven, Your name be honored as holy.
10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. (Bold added)
11 Give us today our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
Did Jesus command us to pray something we can never walk in here in the earth? Why is this not common among the children of God? It is not taught in our meetings and the children of God don’t believe it, instead believing it is only for the hereafter. Please take a moment and share this teaching by every means at your disposal as widely as possible to expand our reach with the Truth. Thank you for sharing. The featured picture today is of a Church in California to remind us to pray for our brothers and sisters.
Ephesians 1:18-19 (HCSB)
18 ⌊I pray⌋ that the perception of your mind may be enlightened so you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the glorious riches of His inheritance among the saints,
19 and what is the immeasurable greatness of His power to us who believe, according to the working of His vast strength.
I suggest you find this entire passage from Ephesians, speak it over yourself, over your family, over the local congregation of which you are a member, and over the larger body of Christ. Now let’s shift our attention to our main Bible text continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 32:1-5 (HCSB)
1 Indeed, a king will reign righteously, and rulers will rule justly.
2 Each will be like a shelter from the wind, a refuge from the rain, like streams of water in a dry land and the shade of a massive rock in an arid land.
3 Then the eyes of those who see will not be closed, and the ears of those who hear will listen.
4 The reckless mind will gain knowledge, and the stammering tongue will speak clearly and fluently.
5 A fool will no longer be called a noble, nor a scoundrel said to be important.
Here we see the coming shift from the fool and scoundrel being in authority to the true princes of our nation being in authority. Review this passage from Ecclesiastes which is all to reflective of our situation today like the Isaiah passage.
Ecclesiastes 10:5-7 (HCSB)
5 There is an evil I have seen under the sun, an error proceeding from the presence of the ruler:
6 The fool is appointed to great heights, but the rich remain in lowly positions.
7 I have seen slaves on horses, but princes walking on the ground like slaves.
So where does this evil get its authority from? It says the ruler. Who are the true rulers in the earth? We, the Church – body of Christ – have the highest authority by far in the earth. So, if someone who is wicked is ruling, where did they get their authority, who allowed it? Who are the rulers in the body of Christ? These are the Apostle, the Prophet, the Evangelist, the Pastor and the Teacher. These are the ones from whom the errors have proceeded.
The one who rejects God and leans to his/her own understanding is a fool according to Scripture and headed for great destruction and all those with them (voted for them, allowed them) including children of God. We have seen fools appointed (elected) to the very highest of positions and everything in between here in America while the ones with true riches remain in lowly positions. Men and women of the kingdom of darkness are on horses, in elevated positions, the best of cars, homes and so on while the princes of God are walking like slaves. One last question for today. When will we, the sons and daughters of God, say enough and take our positions, and our authority in Christ Jesus backed by the Power of God?

20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
