THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD
Greetings precious saints of God, rejoice for we who are in the Kingdom of God are sealed unto the day of our full redemption! Oh, what a day dear ones! If you are reading this and not in the Kingdom of God, don’t let another second go by, cry out to the Lord Jesus the only Savior. Now, let’s focus our attention on today’s primary Bible text continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 44:1-5 (KJV)
1 Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant; and Israel, whom I have chosen:
2 Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen.
3 For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:
4 And they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the water courses.
5 One shall say, I am the LORD’S; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the LORD, and surname himself by the name of Israel.
We are still focused on verse one and the idea that not only were they chosen but we also are chosen. So, there is no confusion, all people are chosen, God does not pick winners and losers, we decide whether to chose Him or the loser. All people were predestined to be God’s children but not all will accept Him as Lord and Savior. They didn’t then and they (the lost) don’t now. Now, let’s review the words given of the Holy Spirit to the Apostle Paul to write for our benefit.
Ephesians 1:3-5 (KJV)
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
Perhaps you will recall that the word “foundation” means the casting down. I asked the question yesterday when that happened. It happened when Lucifer sinned, was thrown from Heaven to the earth, bringing all of that creation into chaos. This is recorded for us by the writer of Genesis (thought to be Moses).
Genesis 1:2 (KJV)
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. (Bold added)
We see the exact same language in Jeremiah.
Jeremiah 4:23-27 (KJV)
23 I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light. (Bold added)
24 I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.
25 I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.
26 I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger.
27 For thus hath the LORD said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end.
