A NEW CREATURE – PART TWO
Sunday – January 26, 2020, Tevet 29, 5780

Greetings precious friends and welcome back to this unnamed Sunday Bible Study. In just a moment I will pick up with where I left off last Sunday and go forward into some of the most wonderful things written. If you are reading this on Facebook please take a moment to hit the “love” and “share” buttons to give us feedback and to expand the reach of this gospel, of this Ministry. Thank you. I also invite those who are led of the Lord to join with us as partners to carry out the various functions of this Ministry. Now, let’s return to our primary Bible text and move forward in our study. God is so good dear saints.
2 Corinthians 5:17-21 (KJV)
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Are you in Christ? If not why not? Be assured there is a Hell and you are going to hate Hell, but as “a new creature” you’ll just be overjoyed with Heaven. The following Scripture are the brief easy to do instructions to be in Christ and becoming a new creature.
Romans 10:9-10 (KJV)
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
If you just now left the kingdom of darkness with the final destination of Hell and have now entered the Kingdom of God’s dear Son final destination Heaven, let us know. I am going to pick up today with the phrase “a new creation” in our primary Bible text. There is no indication anywhere in Scripture that there are others who are like us, the redeemed of the Lord. I am not disputing the archeological record indicating that creatures have walked the earth with an appearance like a man. We dear saints are the only ones ever in the likeness and image of God, the only ones that God breathed of Himself into us making us like Himself. We are the only ones who are children of God for we are of like kind with God. We are the only ones who can sit in the presence of God, we are the only ones seated in Heaven at the Father’s right hand in Christ Jesus. I know many of us tell our cats and dogs that we are mommy and daddy but in truth we are not. I say that to point out that the relationship between God and us is not that which we have with our pets. We are His very own children, sons and daughters. We are children of God, heirs of God, joint-heirs with Christ who is heir of all.
Romans 8:16-17 (KJV)
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
We became His (God’s) very children when we name Jesus as Lord believing in our hearts and confessing with our mouth.
Galatians 3:26-27 (KJV)
26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Have you put on Christ Jesus? I for one am ecstatic that I am fully immersed into Christ, the Anointing, the same anointing that was upon Jesus in the earth, the third person of the Triune co-equal God. I have put on Christ, I made a choice for salvation, for the Kingdom of God, for eternal life, and wow! To be baptized into Christ and to have put on Christ means we have fully embraced that name, the name of Jesus which is now also our name and we are immersed in the Word (Scripture), making every Word our bread of life. As I am getting ready to finish for this Sunday, joyfully read the following passage (yes, aloud).
2 Peter 1:2-4 (KJV)
2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
What brings increasing amounts of “grace and peace” into our lives? Knowledge of God, of Jesus the Lord. By God’s miraculous power we have been given (past tense) all things (or words) necessary for life and godliness. Why aren’t we walking in “all things”. Short answer a lack of faith, love, and sensitivity to the voice of the Holy Spirit. In addition, we have to know what they are and that comes through knowledge (diligent study)! Knowledge by itself is useless in the Kingdom of God, it must be received, believed, and acted upon. We develop in faith and love and with the leadership of the Holy Spirit we call each and every one of God’s promises (benefits of the Kingdom) into our lives. Finally, notice we are partakers (one and the same with) of the divine nature. We are in the god class, are of like kind with our Father just as our children are of like kind with us. I am far from done with this topic but for now let’s conclude with exuberant rejoicing.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
