RIGHTEOUSNESS PEACE AND JOY IN THE HOLY GHOST

Greetings and welcome back to this revealing study of the Kingdom of God. If we want to be the testimony to the world and to each other that our Heavenly Father intended, we need to hear, believe and do according to the Kingdom of God not the world. Then the Grace of God will flow in our lives. Renewing our minds to the Truths of the Bible, the Kingdom of God can be difficult. Most of us have been completely indoctrinated with the traditions of men, doctrines of demons, and sacred cows. Now, let’s turn to our primary text Matthew 6:33.
Matthew 6:32-34 (NIV)
32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Once again we see the command to “seek first his kingdom and his righteousness”. We have also seen in recent teachings that we can also say “seek first righteousness, peace, and joy and His ways of expressing each”. You will remember that Jesus told us that the Kingdom of God was not like a natural kingdom but was within us. The Apostle Paul, by revelation of the Holy Spirit gave us a bit more insight.
Romans 14:17 (KJV)
17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
In previous teachings I have talked about Bible or Gods’ righteousness and peace. Today we will move into joy. Let’s not lose sight of the fact that the Holy Spirit is instrumental in teaching us about these things and helping us develop them to whatever level we choose. Yes, we choose. The word transliterated from Greek to English as joy is chara meaning cheerfulness, calm delight, gladness, and exceeding joy according to Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary. Does this describe you and me? Why and how can we have this joy, this calm delight? Because we know who we are in Him and who He is. We know that the Holy Spirit is within us and He has all Power and all knowledge. All Heaven has to offer is at our command, we are sons of the Kingdom. This might be a good place to use the following Bible verse.
Romans 8:28 (KJV)
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Did you notice the phrase “all things”? Did you notice the qualifier was “them that love God”? Do you love the Lord? This love is divine love, the agape/agapao level love. So, what are the three major components of this love. First and foremost is obedience to and doing the Scriptures. Does that describe you and me? What is our fruit? Are you and me selfless, loving others? Are you, am I walking in Blood Covenant with our Heavenly Father? You might want to review the major components of Blood Covenant. Are you treating others as the Father treats them, all of them? Are you quick to forgive ALL peoples? The other major qualifier for all things working for our good is walking according to His purposes. Does that describe you and me? Jesus said we can tell by the visible fruit in one’s life.
Matthew 12:33 (KJV)
33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.
When people don’t have visible fruit, they frequently fall back on “well I’m accumulating treasure in Heaven”. Really? Are you seeking first of all this calm delight (Bible joy) by walking in the revelation of who you are in Christ and that the demons, the curse can by no means harm you?
TAKE HOME:
- I walk in Bible joy, a calm delight, for I am far above (Ephesians 1:21) every name now and forever in Him.
- No demon can by any means harm us (Luke 10:19) in Him.
- I am seeking first the Kingdom of God and His way of administering the Kingdom in righteousness, peace, and joy.
