THE CURSE OR THE BLESSING WHICH DID YOU CHOOSE

Greetings to one and all and welcome to our study of The Kingdom of God. This study will end with tomorrows teaching. Explaining and demonstrating The Kingdom of God/Heaven was a predominating theme of Jesus Earthly Ministry. He has gone to Heaven, to the right hand of the Father and has commanded us to do as He did.
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Let’s go to our primary Scripture for this study then we will expand from there.
Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
For perhaps a little more clarity let’s take a look at this verse in The Living Bible.
Matthew 6:33 (TLB)
33 and he will give them to you if you give him first place in your life and live as he wants you to.
Each of us must ask ourselves, is He first place in my life and am I living as He wants me to, according to Scripture? These are serious questions. We also must ask ourselves if we trust Him to add the natural things of our lives to us when we put Him first and not our job or some other source of income and when we live according to Scripture. When we put our trust and hope in man first the curse is our lot, when we put our trust and hope in God first the Blessing is our lot.
Jeremiah 17:5-9 (KJV)
5 Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.
6 For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.
7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.
8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
I can’t speak for you but I’m picking to trust the Lord, put my hope in Him, and have the Blessing dominate in my life. Previously I have linked a portion of the “Lord’s Prayer” to our primary text.
Matthew 6:9-10 (KJV)
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Do we believe we can have righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit according to the will of God in our lives and bring it into the lives of others? Jesus thought He could and in fact did. Now, the baton is passed to us. We have the very same Anointing that Jesus had and are therefore capable of having days of Heaven upon the earth and bringing it to others. What did Jesus say and demonstrate that this Anointing on Him was for?
Luke 4:18 (KJV)
18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
Are we preaching that in the Kingdom of God you don’t have to be poor in this worlds goods anymore? Well Jesus did. Are we bringing the Anointing to people to heal, to restore hearts, to restore dreams that are crushed and bring hope? Are we preaching deliverance to those that are captive of all sorts of evil? Are we preaching to bring revelation, light, of the Kingdom to those who are spiritually blind? What about those who have been crushed by the circumstances of life and are in various bondages? These bondages may include sickness, disease, and various addictions. The Anointed, The Holy Ghost and Power is upon us and with us to do all these things and more. These things are to be commonplace in our lives not the rare occurrence we witness or hear about.
TAKE HOME:
- Give Jesus, the Word, first place living according to the Word, by faith in Godly Blood Covenant love.
- We are to bring days of Heaven upon the earth not just for ourselves but for others.
- The Anointing is upon you, the same Anointing that was upon Jesus, we are to do as He did and more.
- Trusting and hoping in the ways of man brings and maintains the curse.
- Trusting and hoping in the ways of God brings and maintains the Blessing.
Lord willing, I will resume right here tomorrow. Remember, we love you, the Lord loves you, and there is nothing you can do about either one.
