TEACHING AND PROPHETIC ARM – PART SIX
Saturday – April 4, 2020, Nisan 10, 5780
Greetings dear saints of God and welcome back to this Saturday series that is highlighting the history and the vision of this Ministry. The vision has become more focused over time but has not really changed. Things that were on the self so to speak the Lord has graciously brought back into view and He has brought alongside us those of like calling, and like mind. If you are reading this on Facebook please take a moment to hit the “love” and “share” buttons to give us feedback and to broaden the reach of this Ministry. Keep in mind that we are always looking for partners with willing and obedient hearts to come along side this Ministry financially to support the callings of this Ministry and share in the rewards. Some of the projects the Lord is leading us into take more than lunch money. We will soon be adding another arm to this Ministry primarily aimed at sharing the vision of what God wants to do through us and to raise the money, the resources, to accomplish the vision. This arm will be called the Eastern Gate Ministries International Vision Foundation. Please pray about this earnestly.
From the beginning of this Ministry there has been a focus on teaching and prophecy. Within that focus was an effort to look at the moral fabric of our nation and encourage people, Christians, to vote and vote the Bible. Unfortunately, only about half of Christians vote and half of the ones who do vote, vote contrary to the Word of God. Voting is an obligation and privilege that we not only have as citizens of these United States but is mandated by our Lord. Voting is part of our stewardship of what God has put in our hand. The Church as a whole is doing an absolutely terrible job discharging this responsibility. Dear ones we have wandered with a great deal of help from the evil ones (demons) far from the Bible. He has convinced us that politics, life, and religion have no common ground. We think we are following the Bible and worshiping God but we have only a form of godliness with no power. God will confirm His Word with signs and wonders following. No signs and wonders, apparently no Word. Kind of a sobering thought my dear friends. The second effort within the teaching and prophecy arm has to do with honoring Israel. I teach about the seven Feasts of the Lord and the two additional feasts observed by the Jewish people. I teach about why we honor the Jewish people, the nation of Israel (basically God said so), and what the reality of honoring Israel means (includes our money and not just prayers and best wishes).
These efforts of teaching the Bible in general, speaking prophetically as a Prophet at times, speaking of the moral fiber of our nation, and teaching about honoring Israel are interwoven. Some years ago, the Lord had given me a vision about reaching out to Pastors and spouses who were fatigued, discouraged, or in some way distressed. That vision for one reason or another got put on the shelf and has recently been taken off and is fully functioning at this time. This arm of the ministry named Sabbatical Moments is the most resource intense part of this ministry. I will speak on this to a much greater extent in the teachings to come. The other arm of this Ministry which is new is the Conference Arm and I will speak about this more in the weeks to come. For now, know there is a Women’s Conference coming on the 30th of May at New Beginnings Church of God in Waterville, Maine. The theme of this conference is “The Virtuous Woman”. Donna has a wonderfully Anointed woman in the person of the Rev. Denise Stiewig coming from Texas to minister. You will not be disappointed and will go away changed and stronger if you choose to be changed and you choose to be stronger.
Now, I want to go back to the Ministry we call Sabbatical Moments and how it was put on the shelf and how it came off the shelf. The Lord has brought up in my thinking the parable of the sower to explain what happened to that dream those many years ago. Coming off the shelf is nothing short of the abundant mercy and graciousness of God. Sometimes when we miss God, we have missed God in that area forever and the only thing left is repentance. God has a plan and He will accomplish that plan if not with me, with someone else. God will not control our individual lives and the devil cannot control our lives. We ourselves determine the course of our lives, the triumphs and failures. Probably not what you are used to hearing in Church but the Truth. You can find out about that in the Bible. I will pick up with this next week but for now let’s take a look at the parable of the sower.
Luke 8:4-8 (KJV)
4 And when much people were gathered together, and were come to him out of every city, he spake by a parable:
5 A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.
6 And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.
7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it.
8 And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
Think, meditate upon this. Perhaps there have been dreams, a call to do for the Kingdom, and you did not accomplish it then for a variety of reasons. There are reasons but no excuse. When He calls, commands us to do a thing, we can in Him do it. What did I or you allow to strangle our call? Remember the way out of failure is repentance and obedience (eager to do it).
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
