AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

A CHILD IS BORN
Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to this exciting and empowering (like all the Word of God) study of the Bible Book of Isaiah. Please take a moment and share these teachings as widely as possible expanding the Truth beyond our reach alone. Thank you for sharing. I know Christmas has come and gone but it is still pretty. The fall holiday season is behind us and we are now immersed into 2022 and the wonderful things God has planned for this year. Will you, will I, walk in these wonderful things? Who chooses the path we walk? Each of us individually choose! There Lord has given us the Holy Bible, the Holy Spirit within (the inner witness), and Godly men and women with whom we can counsel. Donna and I choose to do whatever is necessary to move forward in the wonderful things God has planned for us. Might that entail leaving the ruts of past years? It sure might, almost certainly will, and I know for many that is scary. Here is the question, whose will do we want to follow, our own designed by demons or the will of God?
There are a rising remnant dear friends for all that needs to be accomplished in these last days of the very last days. Yes, there will be an apostasy of the established Church but also a wonderful and great in-gathering of the lost before that great and wonderful day when we all are gathered home. This apostasy is well underway as evidenced by an absolutely powerless Church. There are those in the Church who are seeing glimpses of light, seeing the Truth, and are moving to walk for the first time in the fullness of light. Sadly, many remain entrenched in their traditions and doctrines of demons, talking about God but not experiencing Him. The final move of God through His people in the earth will be more of an awakening and restoration with an enormous in-gathering than a revival of the existing Church. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text in the Book of Isaiah.
Isaiah 9:4-7 (KJV)
4 For thou hast broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian.
5 For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire.
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
As we plunge into verse six above this wonderful news excites our imaginations and energizes our spirit man. For Isaiah a Savior, a Redeemer, the Lamb of God was future, for us His coming is past and we walk in the fullness of this wonderful New Blood Covenant sealed with the eternal Blood of Jesus, God in the flesh, God with us. Just a couple of weeks ago we celebrated the birth of our Savior. We rejoiced in His coming and even more so in what He accomplished for all who will receive Him now and forever more.
The language is interesting in that in the King James the tense appears to be either future or present tense when the actual physical events are still several hundred years in the future. Remember that God had already spoken things that would occur should His man choose to sin. These things were spoken before Genesis 1:3 when He called those things which be not as though they were. Note the following example.
Revelation 13:8 (KJV)
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
The word ‘foundation’ means the ‘casting down’ which is referring to the casting down of Lucifer (the serpent) to the earth with the effects seen in Genesis 1:2, Jeremiah 4:23. As I bring this to an end for today let me take a brief rabbit trail. Notice in both the Genesis and Jeremiah reference there is no life and no light. Notice when Jesus was on the Cross there was no light for three hours.
Luke 23:44 (KJV)
44 And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.
What about this from the parable of the talents?
Matthew 25:30 (KJV)
30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Where ever Satan is there is death and darkness. The three hours of Luke 23 is much longer than any eclipse. Jesus had surrendered to death on the Cross to pay for our sin, Satan was given (he did not take it) the upper hand for three hours. After that it was all downhill for him and will really go downhill on the last day.
Revelation 20:10 (KJV)
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow. Remember, we love you and there is nothing you can do about it.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
