A NEW AND LIVING WAY
Tuesday – February 27, 2018

This new and living way is the risen Savior! The tomb is empty!! Thank you, thank you, thank you Jesus! We are not at some point to enter the holiest place, brother and sister we are standing continually in His presence in the most holy place in Heaven. And, in the earth He dwells in us who believe! As we move forward in this wonderfully good news, let’s read aloud our primary text from the living Book of Hebrews. All of the Word of God is a living Word, it is life and health to our whole being.
Hebrews 10:18-22 (KJV)
18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
21 And having an high priest over the house of God;
22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
Jesus bore the consequences of our sin in His flesh. He was without sin although operating as a man and tempted in every way as we are tempted. He is our example, Scripture teaches us that we are to do as He did including walking free of sin. Sin ladies and gentlemen is a choice we make not an inevitability thrust upon us. He was made sin and suffered the result of the law of sin and death, not just the physical death but spiritual death. However, He triumphed over sin which leads to Hell and death. Therefore, we do not have to go to Hell and we do not have to suffer death. That is not to say we will not die physically at some point. There is an awful and demonic teaching in the Church that God does not always heal for that is a mechanism for us to die and go to Heaven. That is a terrible lie that robs millions of the fullness of redemption. We have a Covenant, Blood Covenant, right to health up to and including the day we choose to lay this physical body aside with His permission and move to Heaven. The only reason many are not healed is that they have never developed the faith that healing is theirs, a guaranteed right of the redemption. Can you imagine the anguish brought to God’s heart when His children teach such devilish lies and others receive it as the truth? Jesus paid a price beyond measure, let’s gladly with a heart of thanksgiving jump into and enjoy all that was bought for us at Calvary.
Before I move on I want to deal with this Church word “consecrated”. This is commonly defined as set apart for God’s use or set apart to God. According to Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary the primary meaning is to renew, to inaugurate, or to dedicate. I want us to focus for a moment on the primary meaning of “to renew”. There was a time, the time of Adam before the Day of Sin and Death that man had free access into the most holy place, the very intimate presence of God. That was lost on the day they sinned in the Garden. Christ Jesus has restored or we could say renewed that access.
Brother and sister, we are the house of God referred to in verse twenty-one. Also, we know and believe that Christ Jesus is our High Priest and He intercedes, mediates, for us in matters of the Blood Covenant. In Heaven today, Jesus is all man and all God. In His role as a flesh and bone man He is our High Priest. In His role as God He is our Lord. As we peer into the twenty-second verse notice that we draw near by faith. This nearness is not a physical proximity reference but spiritual in thought, word, and ways. Faith is the answer, the substance that ignites the Anointing for all things in the Kingdom of God. God operates by faith so it should not be a shocker that we must operate by faith.
Hebrews 11:3 (KJV)
3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
When in the beginning God (Elohim) created the heavens and the earth it was done by faith, when God stepped to the edge of Heaven and declared “let there be light: and there was light” it was by faith.
Genesis 1:3 (KJV)
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
Something I want to bring into our thinking is that the rapidity of the manifestation of a thing according to faith has to do with several factors but at the head of the pack is our level of faith. Don’t let your spiritual panties get in a twist, but if our faith were built to an adequate level and there was a need for something on the level of Genesis 1:3 according to the will of God, we also could speak it into existence. His Words in our mouth, coupled with our faith and His power, would cause the thing to spring into existence like it was there all along.
Tomorrow will be a special edition concerning the Feast of Purim. On Thursday, March 1, 2018 we will return to our Hebrew text.
Until our next publication, I speak blessing into your life right now, receive it in the name of Jesus, confess it, and walk it out with thanksgiving.
Numbers 6:24-26 (MSG)
24 GOD bless you and keep you,
25 GOD smile on you and gift you,
26 GOD look you full in the face and make you prosper.
