A WELL OF TRUTH
AS THE MASTER – PART ONE
Greetings dear and precious friends and partners of this Ministry, Eastern Gate Ministries International, Inc. Welcome back to “A Well of Truth”. Before I delve into our topic for today, please take a moment and share these teachings as widely as possible to expand our reach with the gospel, the Truth. It has always been imperative that we know and do the Truth and that has not changed in the millennia since the creation, since Christ. The will of God is unchanging from creation to this very moment and forever. Our topic is being “As the Master” referring to Jesus and His Ministry in the earth. Most people do not believe that we can be as Jesus as a man in His Ministry in the earth. However, that is not what the Bible says and the Bible is our source of Truth. Listen to Jesus (you are reading out loud, right?) in the following verse.
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Jesus, the Head of the Church, says that if we believe in Him, we are to do the works He did and even greater works. The condition is believing on Him, being fully persuaded, and the command (not a suggestion) to do what He did and greater works than He did His earthly Ministry. Why? He has gone to the Father and once again has given us His authority and the Blessing. Has this Truth been stolen from you? Some do not believe we once again walk in the delegated authority of God, but that all authority rests with Jesus. There is no question He is the Head but the whole person, Head and body, have the same authority. We are in Christ Jesus and are joint-heirs, participants in common, in all things. The will of God is unchanging, it did not change with the Book of Acts or any other place in Scripture.
Malachi 3:6 (KJV)
6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. (Bold added)
The person of Jesus has existed from time and eternity and Scripture tells us that He is the same always.
Hebrews 13:8 (KJV)
8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. (Bold added)
Now, let’s explore the origin of our authority (dominion) in the earth and the extent of our authority.
Genesis 1:26-28 (KJV)
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. (Bold added)
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Man was made in the image and likeness of God (Triune God), that is to look like and act like Him. We see in verse twenty-six we were given primary authority (dominion) in the earth. God could but will not override our authority any more than He overrode Adam’s authority. Not only was Adam and all mankind to follow given primary dominion (authority) in the earth but the Power (the Blessing) to back it up. The Blessing is the Power of God, the Holy Spirit. No different today. When Adam and Eve bowed their knee to the Serpent, their spirit died and they lost connection with God and the supernatural Power of the Blessing to back up their authority in the earth. Even following the sin of mankind, God always had a people (persons) who truly worshiped Him and walked not only in the authority (never withdrawn) but the Anointing to cause supernatural events. It was a thin line of holiness but it culminated in the birth of the Christ. Before I end let’s look at the Words of Jesus just before His ascension, ten days before the Feast of Pentecost.
Matthew 28:18-20 (KJV)
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here next Sunday. By the way the word “power” in verse eighteen is authority.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
