A WELL OF TRUTH
BEING DESTROYED FOR LACK OF KNOWLEDGE
Greetings to my dear and precious brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus and welcome back to this powerful, illuminating, and empowering study from the Well of Truth. I am also taking this opportunity again this week to invite followers who are not already partners to take the leap if the Lord has been speaking to you about becoming a partner. Galatians 6:6 (CJB)
6 But whoever is being instructed in the Word should share all the good things he has with his instructor.
If you are led of the Holy Spirit to be a partner thank you and we receive you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ with blessings. Now, please take a moment and share these teachings as widely as possible to expand our reach with the Truth. Like last week the verse upon which I will center has been discussed before but today more light is coming forth for teacher and student (follower) alike. Read the whole teaching aloud but especially the Scripture, yes, out loud.
Hosea 4:6 (KJV)
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
Please take several minutes to simply look at and repeat the preceding verse aloud. At the center of this verse is knowledge, the acquiring or rejecting of knowledge. To reject knowledge does not mean you don’t know it but that you are not walking in that knowledge. It seems to me that we treat Church, whether it be Sunday School, Bible Studies, Seminars, or Sunday Services all together different than we treat grade school, high school, and college. I did not go to Medical School so as to have a fund of information, of unassimilated facts, but to have an integrated fund of knowledge that could be used in an intelligent fashion to bring benefit to other people. What about spiritual things?
God through the Prophet Hosea tells His people, not the heathen, that they are being destroyed for a lack of knowledge. Is this going on today? Let each of us look at our own lives and look at the Christian community with which we are associated. Lack, sickness, and disease abounds on every side. This is evidence of the destroyer being at work in our lives. The presence of stealing, killing, and destroying in our lives is not by the will of God, and not because the devils can without permission, but by our invitation. Learning to know and learning to implement are two quite different things. You know Jesus said many times that whose who have ears to hear would hear. Everyone heard his physical words, perhaps they even heard on a spiritual level but they did not receive and believe to do. There is simple listening and there is listening to understand and do which is have ears to hear.
The voice of God through the Prophet goes on to say that the root problem is that His people are rejected His Anointed Word. They may be able to quote any given passage but are not doing a lick of it. This is disobedience likely coupled with unbelief which is rebellion, which is idolatry, another god was chosen. It doesn’t get anymore serious than this dear ones. Rejecting the Anointed Word, who is Jesus, is the same as rejecting Jesus, it is a rejection of the Holy Spirit who Anoints the Words, and it is a rejection of the Father who sent both to us. Notice that the result of rejecting His Anointed Revelation Word results in Him rejecting us. Sowing and reaping dear ones. It is justice. He rejects us as priests before Him which means we no longer have an effective voice of intercession for anyone before the Throne.
Next, He tells us that because we have forgotten (oblivious to or not giving attention to) the law of God He has forgotten our children. How many of us want God to forget, not give attention to our children? God is love (agape) and God is light (Anointed Word). When we forget the law of love which would involve loving His other children, he forgets our children. Sowing and reaping dear ones, justice. It is my prayer that this teaching has brought an urgency and clarity not previously appreciated.
God willing, I will be back next Sunday with a fresh Anointed Word from the Throne of God, the Well of Truth.

20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
