A WELL OF TRUTH
BEST USE OF TIME

Greetings dear and precious children, sons and daughters of our Father God, brothers and sisters with Christ Jesus, and those led of the Holy Spirit our Teacher, Comforter, Helper. As we prepare to delve into today’s teachings, please take a moment and share these teachings as widely as possible. Thank you for sharing.
Today I am going to be talking about redeeming the time or making the best use of our time. What is the best use of our time? And, is it really ‘our time’? Many of us are going day to day as though this is all there is (this natural life) and giving no thought as to the best and highest use of our time. Whether we are in the Kingdom of God or the kingdom of darkness our time here in the earth is so very short compared to the eternity to follow. What is even 120 years in the light of eternity (time without end)? Yet, what we do in this time not only determines whether Heaven or Hell is our eternal home but what our rewards and responsibilities will be in the eternity to come for the saints of God.
It appears to me that many consider our natural lives and our spiritual lives to be completely separate. This is not true; we have but one life and that is a spiritual life with a natural component. This will be true for eternity. For example, let’s consider our jobs. As I have written elsewhere our jobs in the natural are a part of our spiritual service to God first and secondly to our fellow man. If we are following the leadership of the Holy Spirit, the job, vocation, profession, in which we are engaged was chosen by God. God has given us the wisdom, talents and gifts to do that job on a supernatural level (at least 10 times better than our heathen counterpart). It is part of our service to our Heavenly Father and our fellow man. However faithful we are in all of our lives determines our spiritual rewards and responsibilities. Yes, that includes taking care of the house as a stay-at-home mom, man or woman at home without children, grocery shopping, our outside of the home jobs, our entertainment, raising our kids, our marriages, and so on. Are we looking to be led of the Holy Spirit in ALL that we do? Do we look to Him when “we don’t know what to do”? Are we leaning to our own understanding without consultation with Him? Thank about it. No matter how much we know about anything, compared to Him it is just about nothing.
Remember there is no God, the devil, and us standing alone. We are either thinking and speaking God’s Words or the devils. If like Jesus we only speak what we hear the Father speaking and we only do what we see the Father doing (see last weeks teaching) we will have victory upon victory with no defeats and we will have and enjoy Canaan Land (partake of all His promises) living doing the works of Jesus and the greater works. Did Jesus suffer any defeats? Neither should we! What is our end game? Where is our focus? Is our focus upon the Kingdom of God and doing things His way or upon ourselves and doing things our way? One puts us in danger of Hell fire, perishing, the other great reward here and forever more in that which is to follow. What follows is not separate from what we are doing right here and now but intimately connected. Remember, the title of this study is “Best Use of Time”. Think about the following passage for a moment.
Mark 10:29-30 (KJV)
29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s,
30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.
What kind of activity brings great reward now in this time from God the Father? Kingdom activity! Does this passage distinguish between the reward for what is done in the earth from rewards in the earth and in Heaven (eternal life)? Now, let’s rightly divide Scripture or look at the full counsel of Scripture. Our reward is based upon what we did by the leadership of the Holy Spirit and that we did with excellence. If we are very busy, fatigued, even overwhelmed by what we are “doing for the Lord” we are off His path. All of us perhaps have heard people bragging about how busy they are for the Lord. Is that Scriptural?
Matthew 11:28-30 (KJV)
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Is this Scripture, Bible, the Truth?
Lord willing, I will pick up with this discussion next Sunday.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as your Bible Teacher and a Prophetic Voice in your life I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, doubt it not, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus’ name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
