I AM UNDONE

Greetings precious saints of God, brothers and sisters in Christ, kings and priests in the Kingdom of God and welcome back to The Three Minute Word blog. We are currently working our way through the Book of Isaiah, a most wonderful text as is the other 65 Books of the Bible. Before we move on, please take a moment and share these teachings as widely as possible. Thank you for sharing. The beautiful featured picture today was graciously provided by Bob and Kathy French, friends of ours and the Ministry. As I was pondering before the Lord what I would write over the next several days as a preamble or Word from the Lord, He quickened me to a passage, 2 Corinthians 5:17-21. For the sake of space and time I will continue to address only a part of the 17th verse.
2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Last week I pointed out that both the words ‘new’ and ‘creature’ were singular and feminine in gender. This new creature is to be productive. That means each and every one of us is to be productive for the Kingdom of God not just a certain few. Please do not be deceived by anyone in the pulpit, the pew, or the world that we are all obligated to produce (be fruitful) the same thing or a certain thing. God has uniquely gifted each of us spiritually and naturally for His purposes for us. By the way one cannot be truly productive for the Kingdom and not have physical evidence like prosperity, health, and so on. Let’s look at the definition of ‘creature’ from the Greek.
The word translated from Greek to English as ‘creature’ is Ktisis which comes from the root word ktizō. These mean original formation, building, creation, creature, ordinance. These carry the idea of being a proprietor, a fabricator, and a creator. It also carries the meaning of a place founded, created, being an inventor, a builder or one to build up, one who colonizes according to The Complete Word Study Dictionary – New Testament and Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary. Wow, we are all of that and more!
This word translated as creature or creation from the Greek in the New Testament is very much aligned with the word for ‘son’ in the Hebrew. The Hebrew word transliterated to English as son is bēn meaning a builder of the family name and is derived from the root word bānâ meaning build (-er), obtain children, make, repair, and to set (up), according to Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary. So, we see that we would not be doing damage to our text by putting the word ‘son’ in place of ‘creature’. Thus, it would read ‘2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV) 17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new son… Jesus was the first Son, the first begotten (born again) from the dead, but now each of us in our order.
1 Corinthians 15:20-23 (ESV)
20 But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.
21 For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead.
22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.
23 But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, then at his coming those who belong to Christ.
Now let’s turn our attention to our Isaiah text and continue reading aloud to build our faith.
Isaiah 6:5-8 (KJV)
5 Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.
6 Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:
7 And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.
8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
Once again, I have not left much space for our study of Isaiah but we will follow the leadership of the Holy Spirit and His purposes for us will be well served. The Prophet Isaiah was given a vision of the Throne Room of Heaven and the One we know as Jesus, Lord and Savior sitting on His Throne. Isaiah sees these beautiful creatures flying about the Throne crying holy, holy, holy which are known as Seraphim. Immediately Isaiah identifies his mouth as a serious problem in the light of this scene, His presence. Are our mouths, the words we speak, even the thoughts and imaginations we have, a problem today? This is what determines our lives. Whatever my circumstances, whatever your circumstances, we have arrived there via our thought life and words (Matthew 12:35). Our thoughts and our words are setting the course of our lives. We have been given the Word of God to put in our thoughts and mouths to achieve the abundant life Jesus died to give us (John 10:10).
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as your Bible Teacher and a Prophetic Voice in your life I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, doubt it not, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus’ name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
