A WELL OF TRUTH
DO WE BELIEVE JOHN 14:12? – PART SIX
Greetings precious saints of the Almighty God, Partners, and friends of this Ministry and The Three Minute Word blog. Welcome back to this Sunday series titled “A Well of Truth” currently focused on John 14:12. Please take a moment and share these teachings as widely as possible to expand our reach with the Truth. Thank you for sharing. I am continuing with the teaching; “Do We Believe John 14:12?” now on Part Six. I hope that many of you know this verse without having to look it up. It is a verse I have taught on and around for years. Are we listening to understand (spiritual hearing), receive, prove, believe, doubt not, and implement as led of the Holy Spirit? The command of John 14:12 is not evidenced in the Church for the most part either corporately or individually. This must change for me, for you, and for the Church (at least the rising remnant). When a command of the Master, a command of Scripture, is not being obeyed we must repent, and ask why we are not in obedience. The simple answers are that we don’t believe it is for us, we are willingly ignorant, or have other gods. Let’s review our focus verse, a command from the lips of the Master.
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Why is this so important? Quite simply if we don’t do it, it will not get done and God will have to raise up another generation like He did in the wilderness to possess the Promised Land. Notice our anchor verse applies to every saved person who is filled with the Holy Spirit and Power (with the evidence of speaking in other tongues). As an aside, if you are not filled with the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues you are not endued with Power, the Power of God, period (Luke 24:49). We are to do what Jesus did, yes, all of it, in His earthly ministry as a man. The following passage is but one, of many, examples of the Ministry of Jesus which we are to duplicate.
Luke 7:21-22 (KJV)
21 And in that same hour he cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many that were blind he gave sight.
22 Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.
The reason we are to do this is that Jesus has gone to the right hand of Majesty (the Father) on High, as God no longer has authority in the earth, and we are endued with a Helper, the Holy Spirit (just as He was) to accomplish all including the greater works. Jesus by His own mouth while in the earth told us that we were to be just like Him (Luke 6:40, Matthew 10:24-25). Remember from last week the following verse from the mouth of the Master.
John 15:20 (KJV)
20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
It seems to me that the idea that we are to be and have the capacity to be just like Jesus in His earthly walk, Ministry, is a very hard pill to swallow. This has come about by the deceptions of the demons producing a false humility, through atrocious teachings from the leaders. While we are at it let’s take a look at what the Apostle of Love has to say about all of this by the unction of the Holy Spirit.
1 John 4:16-18 (KJV)
16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. (Bold added)
18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
Do we believe 1 John 4:17? Is it Bible? As He (Jesus is today at the right hand of the Father) so are we in this present world. We cannot walk in this unless we receive it, believe it, doubt it not, and implement it as led of the Holy Spirit.

20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
