AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

FROM THE PROPHETS CHAMBER – WEEK THIRTY-EIGHT
Ye are gods
Greetings dear children of God the Father and welcome back to From the Prophets Chamber. Please take a moment to share these teachings as widely as possible. Thank you for sharing. This week I am again addressing, sharing, the Truth that we are gods, little g. It is very important that this be a settled part of our identity in Christ Jesus. As natural children we have all of the potential of our parents. As children of God in Christ Jesus we have all the spiritual potential of our Father. That potential does not exist apart from our being in Christ Jesus. The potential (Power) of God only flows in line with the will of God by our faith, powered by (agape) love (motivation).
We must not shrink back from who we are in Christ Jesus. We are in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:26) just as our natural children are in our image and likeness. God produced after His own kind (Genesis 1:11 and following) as do all living natural creations. A pig never produced a cow or a horse a chicken no more than a tulip ever produced a rose or a pine tree a stalk of corn. The seed (Word of God) for us, our spirit man (spirit/soul) was within God, the breath of God, we are born of incorruptible seed. God produced a god/man with our spirit/soul from Him and our body of the earth giving us authority in the earth. The ruling religious leaders of Jesus’ day became apoplectic when Jesus called Himself the Son of God. No different today. Is it Bible or not? Looks like Bible to me. Listen to Jesus.
John 10:34-36 (KJV)
34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
We are born of God, by the incorruptible Seed of the gospel and are likewise sons of God in Christ Jesus. Therefore, we are gods! Let’s turn now to the Scripture that Jesus was quoting.
Psalm 82:1-8 (KJV)
1 God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.
2 How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.
3 Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.
4 Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.
5 They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.
6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
7 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
8 Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.
Our Heavenly by way of the Holy Spirit stands among us and calls us mighty and He judges among us whom He calls gods (you and me). Unfortunately, we come up short. We have been putting up with the wicked when we are the ones with the far superior authority and Power in the earth. We have failed to bring justice to the poor, the fatherless, the afflicted, and needy. We have not done our mandate from Isaiah 61 and delivered by way of the Anointing the poor and needy from the hand of the wicked. Still talking to His people in verse five our Father declares that we are without understanding, walking in darkness, and have allowed the foundations of the earth to get out of course.
Is the admonition, the Truth, of Psalm 82 only for this ancient people or perhaps we should examine ourselves and see where we have fallen short. Our Father then declares “Ye are gods”, you are my children. Due to your failures to be like Me, do the Word, you will die like mere men by the curse and fall like all the other leaders in the earth not of my Kingdom. Finally in verse eight our Father God commands that we arise, take our place as judges in the earth, and walk in our inheritance. We are not to accept the ways of the wicked, their unjust ways. We are to rise up in our authority (dominion) which is total and absolute, and in the Power of the Holy Spirit which far exceeds all other power. We are to be about the works of the Master and the greater works (John 14:12, Isaiah 61).

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
