AH SINFUL NATION

Greetings precious people of God and precious people of the world. Welcome back to this empowering study of the Book of Isaiah. As we prepare to move forward in our study, and in our walk with God, please take a moment to share these teachings as widely as possible. The featured picture today was provided by a wonderful brother in the Lord, Joe Getchell Jr. God is abundantly good to us all, so, let us be abundantly good to those around us. I encourage each of us to read these studies out loud. Nowhere in Scripture does it say that faith comes by seeing. Faith comes one way and that is by hearing (Romans 10:17). We also know that it is impossible to please God without faith (Hebrews 11:6).
The word meditate appears fourteen times in the KJV of the Bible. Fourteen is the number of deliverance and salvation. Declaring (speaking) the Word of the Lord in faith and love brings (guarantees) our deliverance and salvation from all the curse. Consider and meditate the follow three examples.
Joshua 1:8 (KJV)
8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Who brings success into our lives? God or us? Ultimately it is the Father by the agency of the Holy Spirit through us but we must do our part, what only we can do.
Psalm 1:1-3 (KJV)
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
Who distinguishes between and decides whether to follow the ways of the world or the ways of God?
1 Timothy 4:15-16 (KJV)
15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.
16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.
Is any of this of interest to us? Certainly, it is of great interest not just to know as information but to do as revelation. The word meditate means to murmur (speaking under the breath), to ponder, imagine, mutter, roar, speak, study, talk, and utter according to Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary. Now, let’s move forward into the Book of Isaiah, continuing to read aloud, yes, out loud.
Isaiah 1:2-4 (KJV)
2 Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.
3 The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master’s crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider.
4 Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.
The sinful nation the LORD is speaking to is those who say He is their Lord, today we would say the Church.
1 Peter 2:9 (KJV)
9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
He has called them and us “out of darkness into his marvellous light” but did we come completely out of the darkness or are we working partly in the dark and partly in the light? We choose, absolute light with no shadow of turning like our Lord is available. The Church is loaded with the traditions of men and the doctrines of devils being preached and declared by many as the Truth and they are not. Two very common satanic lies bought into by much of the Church is that God is in control of the decisions of our lives and that God calls people home (to Heaven). I am not going to get into either one right now. I have taught extensively on both over many years. Where are the Scriptures that declare either one of these lies that we comfort ourselves with? Why is there a lack of finances and health in the body of Christ?
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as your Bible Teacher and a Prophetic Voice in your life I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus’ name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
