AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

COME NOW – LET US REASON TOGETHER
Greetings precious children of the Father and welcome back to The Three Minute Word blog currently exploring the Bible Book of Isaiah. What a wonderful, instructive Book for us all and a mirror of our time that we may examine ourselves. Remember, whatever is going on in the earth is not primarily the fault of the heathens but we the Church. The featured picture today was taken at Quill Hill this last summer of Donna and me. This is a beautiful place to visit, take a picnic lunch and just enjoy. This always reminds me that Donna and I, you too, are looking at a very wide and wonderful vista (scope and fullness of life) the Lord Himself has prepared for us.
Jeremiah 29:11-13 (CJB)
11 For I know what plans I have in mind for you,’ says Adonai, ‘plans for well-being, not for bad things; so that you can have hope and a future.
12 When you call to me and pray to me, I will listen to you.
13 When you seek me, you will find me, provided you seek for me wholeheartedly;
Is my prayer life, is yours, wholehearted? Please take a moment to share these teachings as widely as possible to expand our reach of the Truth. Our God is so good! We are not in a guessing game with the Lord as to what is His will and what is not His will. We don’t always like His will at first brush when it goes against our traditions, the doctrines of devils we have accepted, or our flesh (carnal nature). When we find a variance between our thinking and Gods’, the smartest thing for us to do is quickly align ourselves with the Word, the Truth of God, casting aside all else, for all else is wickedness. Dear ones we, all of us, must develop an absolute aversion (loathing, abhorrence, repugnance) for what is not of God. We are family and as such have been already made partakers in the fulness of the Kingdom of God. Jesus didn’t purchase just a little dab will do yeah for here and the mother lode comes later, we have access to it all now.
Luke 12:32 (KJV)
32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
This is not future tense dear ones, in fact this statement is independent of time, it is in the eternal, it was, it is, and will always be the Father’s good pleasure for us to have the Kingdom.
Let’s make up our mind right now to walk in the fulness of the Kingdom of God. The will of God is ours to appropriate here and now just as it is in Heaven. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text and continue reading aloud, yes, out loud. Faith comes by hearing not seeing.
Isaiah 1:15-18 (KJV)
15 And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.
16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;
17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
Who does the Lord want us to reason with? Does He want us reasoning with ourselves, with others in the Kingdom, or with those in the world? No, no, and no, He wants us reasoning with Him. This might be a conversation with Him with a confirmation (at least two witnesses) from the Word of God. In today’s vernacular it might sound like; “hey, if you will turn from this wickedness, I will take your sin away”. How many times did He say this to each of us by the conviction of His Holy Spirit before we choose Him and the Kingdom of God? Our sins required the Blood of Jesus (scarlet) to make us pure (white) before the Lord. Our Father always has forgiveness on His mind. He craves our fellowship not just relationship which requires that sin be dealt with definitively. He wants with all His heart for us to be just like Him as we do our children in the natural. These people of this first chapter of Isaiah think they are just the cats’ meow but the Lord has pointed out they are far from it but they don’t have to remain in their sin, in the place of pending judgment. Listen to the subsequent passage from this first chapter of Isaiah.
Isaiah 1:19-20 (AMP)
19 If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land;
20 But if you refuse and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken it.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here next week and we will spend a lot of time here and allow the Word of God to show us the intents of our hearts.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
