FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT – FAITH – PART ELEVEN
Greetings precious saints of God, brothers and sisters in Christ and welcome back to Friday Nuggets. I am currently dealing with the Fruit of our spirit. For several weeks I have been dealing with the fruit of faith and today is part eleven of that series. Please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible by every means at your disposal. Thank you so much for sharing, you are important to us but more importantly to the Kingdom of God. Those of you who just hit the thumbs up or heart button go ahead and hit the share button, same amount of work, and not only encourages us but brings Truth to perhaps many that are not hearing the Truth. Please be reminded of my latest book and if you haven’t yet ordered, do so today.

Think you know about “Love” Godly love? Study and implement this book guided by The Helper and see your relationship with God and others transformed.
Now let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text for this study and continue to read out loud.
Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV)
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
We tend to talk about the fruit of the spirit, our spirit individually but in reality, they are not stand-alone fruit. As I have been laying out each one of the fruit, I have attempted to show their interdependence. I have heard it said the love (agapē) is the primary fruit and the other eight are aspects of it. If you meditate upon that idea, it is easy to see how that might be. At a minimum there is tremendous overlap or dependance of one upon another. We are not going to be known for gentleness, goodness, or any of the others if we have little love or temperance (self-control). These fruit individually and as a whole are not something we put on like clothing but something we become. Scripture explicitly tells us that God is love however I hope we can agree that He is all of the others as well. What about us? We are made in His image, likeness, and are of like kind. As I conclude for today and the fruit of faith, I want to again briefly address the teaching of Jesus on the exercise of faith.
Mark 11:22-26 (KJV)
22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
Let me ask, who speaks to the mountain (problem of any sort)? We do, Jesus is very clear about that. Is there any place in the Gospels when Jesus asked the Father to do anything? Now don’t give me the pathetic line “but that was Jesus, He was God”. Yes, it was Jesus but not functioning as God for He laid all that aside. He was functioning as a man and suddenly activating His God powers was not a fall back, in a pinch, position. Jesus was Anointed by the Father with the Holy Spirit and Power (Acts 10:38), and He said he only said what the Father said, only did what He saw the Father do, and the Father (by agency of the Holy Spirit) did the works. Works the same for us. Search the Scripture and find an occasion in the Old or New Testament when a person asked God to do it and He did it. For example, who commanded it not to rain for three and a half years and it didn’t. A person with authority has to speak in submission to God giving Him (God) a legal access into the earth realm and God caused it not to rain at the command of Elijah.
1 Kings 17:1 (KJV)
1 And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here next Friday with more Golden Nuggets from the Throne.
By: Dr. David R. Wood, Author, Bible Teacher, and Prophetic Voice
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (KJV)
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
