FROM THE PROPHETS CHAMBER
DO ALL HIS COMMANDMENTS – PART SIXTEEN

Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to From the Prophets Chamber and the topic Do All His Commands. Please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. Thank you for sharing. In the featured picture I am teaching at Faith Chapel in Pennington Texas. A precious group of people. Please be sure you are reading out loud.
Remember the Blessing is the empowerment from God, the Anointing, to prosper in submission to Him. Today let’s focus in on verse seven. Without the full counsel of Scripture or considering the first verse of this chapter one might think they can just lay up in the Lazy Boy chair and God will automatically take care of it. We like to talk about and sing about God fighting our battles but that is not the Truth. Dear ones, children of God, we always have a part. Our part always comes before His part. Remember the Blessing is the empowerment from God, the Anointing, to prosper in submission to Him. Now let’s move to our primary Bible text continuing to read out loud.
Deuteronomy 28:6-9 (KJV)
6 Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.
7 The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.
8 The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
9 The LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways.
I want us to return to the Words of Jesus from the teaching last week. There are a few points that I want us to again focus on and get inside of us.
John 14:9-12 (KJV)
9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Can people see the Heavenly Father when they see us? If not, why not? Is this something that was to be unique to Jesus? Convenient thought, don’t you think? Do people believe God is in us? Do they believe, know, that you, I, speak for Him, His Words? Do they know that all supernatural manifestations of God are the result of our obedience (speaking His Words) and His power? Do we believe verse twelve? Jesus has gone to the Right Hand of the Father, who is left to carry on his work? I am still talking about verse seven of our primary text. Our enemies fleeing is not automatic. We have a boatload of tools given us by the Lord but we must use them.
Luke 10:19 (KJV)
19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Who is using their authority to tread the demons underfoot, us or God? When we exercise our authority (first us of the word ‘power’ above) they cannot hurt us, God sees to that.
James 4:6-8 (KJV)
6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
Being humble is vital, key to the devil fleeing. In our humility He provides grace which is the Power, Anointing of God. Walking in pride not only brings resistance from God, how smart is that, and opens the door for the devil. There is no acceptable alternative to total submission to God in every area of life. Being humble and submitting to God is how we draw near to Him and brings Him nearer to us. The result is that all things in our lives are cleansed, sin is washed away, out hearts are made pure, and we become single minded. Let us be careful to do our parts and walk in absolute dominion over all the power of the demons.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here next week.
