AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

FROM THE PROPHETS CHAMBER – WEEK EIGHT
ABRAHAM ARISING PART FOUR
Greetings dear saints of God and welcome back to the Prophets Chamber. Please take a moment and share this Bible teaching as widely as possible to expand the reach of the Truth. I realize that I am repeating much of the same material week to week with this Prophetic Word. However, if we had gotten it prior to now, we would not be in the mess we (the Church) are in right now. A righting is coming to our nation, judgment is coming upon the government and upon the Church. On Monday the 1st of March as I sat with the Lord thinking about what He might give me for today, the following phrase rose up in my spirit from the Lord. “An Abraham is arising; indeed, many Abraham’s are arising.” Perhaps like you just now, I said, Ok, what does this mean? Very quickly the Lord brought a few things to mind. The first thing was the slaughter of the kings in the rescue of Lot. The second thing was that the Lord coupled this (“Abrahams arising”) with David and the episode at Ziglag. Both were unnecessary however due to the mercy of God; all was recovered in both cases. Was it necessary that anything be lost? Short answer is “no”. Many things that happen in all of our lives were and are unnecessary. The next morning (March 2nd), the Lord reminded me that in the process of time Abraham brought forth Isaac (child of promise) by faith, faith in God. However, prior to that a tryst with Hagar (bondwoman) brought forth an Ishmael (child of the flesh). Hagar represents the world and Ishmael is the organized traditional Church, a snare to the people of God. A form of godliness lacking the Power of God.
Now let’s do a brief review. Recall that God had told Abram to leave Ur of the Chaldees alone but he took his father’s house and Lot and stopped in Haran. None of that was in the command of God. Finally, Abram’s father dies. Then Abram and Lot go into Canaan land. Abram’s father was an idol worshipper and Lot is a flesh creature not a man of God. A conflict arose between the herdsmen of Abram and Lot and they separated. Lot took the land that looked good to the eye and he chose to live with and among the heathen. Remember, the following verse not only as it relates to Lot but as it relates to each and every one of us.
2 Chronicles 16:9 (KJV)
9 For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.
Now, back to Abram and Lot.
Genesis 14:14-21 (KJV)
14 And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his trained servants, born in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued them unto Dan.
15 And he divided himself against them, he and his servants, by night, and smote them, and pursued them unto Hobah, which is on the left hand of Damascus.
16 And he brought back all the goods, and also brought again his brother Lot, and his goods, and the women also, and the people.
17 And the king of Sodom went out to meet him after his return from the slaughter of Chedorlaomer, and of the kings that were with him, at the valley of Shaveh, which is the king’s dale.
18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.
19 And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth:
20 And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.
21 And the king of Sodom said unto Abram, Give me the persons, and take the goods to thyself.
The foundational error was when Abram brought his nephew Lot with him out of Ur of the Chaldees. This was a violation of God’s command. In spite of this Lot prospered by the Law of Association however, Abram was held back from the purposes for which God had brought him to this land. God needed to separate Abram from his sinful and fleshy family in order to bring him into the greatest purpose of any human being apart from Jesus. God was to establish the Jewish (Hebrews) people as His first Covenant People, give them an eternal land deed, and bring the Messiah into the earth to take care of the sin problem for all mankind. As you have meditatively and diligently read the preceding passage you noticed that the King of Sodom wanted the people. He represents the devil who wants the people. He knows he can control things including wealth and health through the people and his deceptions of the people. To whom are we looking for these things? We also see the Communion Table for the first time, and the coming Messiah. Melchizedek is a type and shadow of the risen Jesus who is King of kings and our High Priest. He is also a type and shadow of each of us in the Church for we are kings in the earth and priests in the earth. What a picture!

20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
