FROM THE PROPHETS CHAMBER – WEEK FOURTEEN
CONDEMNATION OR NO CONDEMNATION WE CHOOSE

Greetings dear and precious saints and welcome back to the Prophets Chamber. God is so good to unveil His Truths. Before I proceed, please take a moment to share these teachings, which include golden nuggets and Prophetic insights, to expand the reach of this Ministry and the Truth. Today I am simply going to share a few thoughts from perhaps one of the richest Bible chapters in the Bible, the 8th Chapter of Romans. Let’s jump right into the first two verses.
Romans 8:1-2 (KJV)
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
The word condemnation in the first verse has to do with an adverse sentence or to have a judgement against. We like the sounds of the phrase “There is therefore now no condemnation” but let’s look at the qualifiers. Nothing in the Kingdom of God is automatic as we go about our merry way. Obedience to Scripture is the primary qualifier for all things in the Kingdom of God including salvation. Salvation is our entrance into the Kingdom of God making all things of the Kingdom ours. Remember the following Scripture.
John 14:21 (KJV)
21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
The word for ‘love’ here is agape, the God level of love. We the children of God are fully capable of this same love. This unlimited potential for love just as God love is part of our spirit man, it is a fruit of our spirit. Again, I will remind us all that the primary manifestation of agape love is obedience to Scripture, selfless motivations, and awareness we are in a Blood Covenant with the Almighty God. So, looking at the John 14:21 text above we see that when we are obedient to the Word of God, then, and only then, does He do His part and manifest in our lives. The definition of love (agape) does not change just because it is being applied to God.
Now back to Romans 8:1. Notice the first qualifier mentioned in the verse is being “in Christ Jesus”. To be in Christ Jesus means that we entered the Blood Covenant set in place by the faith and obedience of Abraham and Isaac which culminated, and is eternally established in the Sacrifice and Resurrection of Christ. In short, one must be saved, born again. The second qualifier mentioned is that we not walk after or be focused on the flesh but that we walk after or be focused on the Spirit. The Truth that I want to bring front and center is that a born-again person can come under condemnation when they focus on the flesh. Focus on the flesh leads into sin and death of various sorts in our lives including our physical death. When we are focused on the flesh, we are not being led of the Spirit. The ways of the flesh or carnal nature are death, not the ways of God.
Romans 8:6 (KJV)
6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
To be carnally minded means to be focused on the flesh, the carnal things of life, and not the spiritual which is the superior realm. Walking after the Spirit is life and peace. I choose walking after the Spirit. Where am I focused? Where are you focused? Are we looking primarily after the wants of the flesh, the emotions, or are we focused upon the Kingdom of God and His righteousness?
Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
1 Peter 5:6-8 (KJV)
6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
As we read 1 Peter 5:8 above let’s be very aware of Romans 8:1 and the very real possibility of condemnation (a judgment against) for the child of God not pursuing the Spirit with all of their heart.
Lord willing, I will have another fresh Word from the Throne next week.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as your Bible Teacher and a Prophetic Voice in your life I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus’ name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
