AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

FROM THE PROPHETS CHAMBER – WEEK SEVENTY-NINE
SON – AMBASSADOR – HEIR
Greetings dear brothers and sisters in Christ and welcome back to From the Prophets Chamber. Today I will be teaching from familiar passages of Scripture and hopefully bring some additional light, renewal of our minds. Please take a moment to share this teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. Thank you for sharing. Now let’s plunge into our primary Scriptures reading out loud. We read out loud because we are determined to please our Heavenly Father.
2 Corinthians 5:17-20 (KJV)
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
Romans 8:17 (KJV)
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
I believe part of Holy Spirits purpose in this teaching is to again help us to see, receive, believe, and act upon who we are in Christ Jesus. Whether we like to hear it or not, the Church at large is in terrible shape, not even close to what where we must get to, all due to the dumbed down teachings in many Churches. Lies of the enemy accepted and taught as Truth. Get my recent book titled “Sacred Cows among the Ekklesia (alternate spelling) for more insight. We hear this tossed around a lot in Church and between brothers and sisters in Christ but it seems to be empty rhetoric for there is no fruit, evidence that the Truth is at work in those lives.
Let’s start by looking closely at 2 Cor 5:17. Notice it tells who is being referred to which are those people “in Christ”. So, if you have been born again, it is talking about you and me. Christ is the Redeemer, the Anointed One. He is the One who saves us by His Blood, His victory over Satan, and His Resurrection from being spiritually and physically dead and restoration as God. His salvation is our salvation. What God did for Jesus He has done for us as well. We receive it all, one at a time by faith. The passage goes on to say that we, the ones in Christ, are new creatures. I will focus for a bit not only the word ‘creatures’ but also the word ‘new’. The word ‘new’ here means not existing before. You and I dear ones are unique in all of eternity. To support that statement let’s look at the following passage and then I will pick it up next week.
Psalm 8:3-9 (KJV)
3 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:
7 All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;
8 The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.
9 O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!
It is not entirely clear who is speaking in this Psalm, some have speculated it is an angel. Angel or not, these are the thoughts of God illuminating a Truth for us all. In verse five the word translated as ‘angels’ is actually Elohim the Triune God.

5 You made him little less than God and crowned him with glory and honor.
6 You made him lord over the works of Your hands; You put everything under his feet:
Lord willing, I will pick up right here next Saturday.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
