FROM THE PROPHETS CHAMBER – WEEK SIXTEEN
DO WE LOVE JESUS – THE WORD? – PART TWO
Greetings dear and precious saints of the only Living God and welcome back to the Prophets Chamber. As you read this aloud and take the time to study, meditate, and reflect upon this teaching also take a moment and share this teaching. On a personal note, those of you who follow on Facebook know that Donna and I are moving to Texas in June. Our home is sold and we are going through our stuff to do the purging we should have been doing right along.
As you will recall from last Saturday, I shared how I have become acutely aware in recent days of the failure of many in the Church, body of Christ, to be transformed by the Word of God. I even shared a portion of a Prophecy I received on a recent trip to Texas. This disconnect between knowing but not doing the Word of God is a fundamental cancer in the body of Christ. Some just plain don’t know the Word and therefore are not doing it. Yes, they are on their way to Heaven but in really rough shape. These are not walking in their God given authority and not allowing the flow of God’s Power (the Blessing) to flow in their life. It is a heart issue my friends. Let us not draw near with our lips but be far from Him in our hearts (Isaiah 29:13, Matthew 15:7-9). The contents of our hearts determines the course of our lives.
Proverbs 4:23 (NLT)
23 Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.
Our heart is our soul, our mind, our conscious and subconscious. Do we really believe the preceding verse? Does what we believe that our heart, our thought life, really determines the course of our life? While it is true that we do not really know the heart of another person, hard enough sometimes to know our own heart, we can have significant indicators by the fruit, course of their life. Let’s take a look at how Jesus put it.
Luke 6:45-49 (KJV)
45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:
48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.
49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.
Remember, Jesus is talking to Church people, Christians, not the heathen or the world in the passage above. Good treasure identifies a good person and evil treasure identifies an evil person. Good is those things that are of God and evil is those things contrary to the things (thoughts, word, and ways) of God. Is my life, your life, built upon the Rock or the sand? The sand is the lies of the devils and the traditions of men. The Rock is the Word of the Living God in Christ Jesus. Are we talking about the Word of God or doing the Word of God? What is the definition of love (agape)? We know that God personifies LOVE (1 John 4:8), do we? Love (agape), the God kind of love, is obeying the Word of God, being selfless in motivation, and doing the Blood Covenant.
John 14:15 (KJV)
15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
This seems pretty clear. If we love (agape) Him we do exactly what we find written in the Word. The Word of God is that “good treasure” and it will come out our mouths full of faith, in love (selflessness), led of the Holy Spirit and change that at which it is directed. Let’s listen to the Master a little more before I close for this week.
John 14:21 (KJV)
21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
Do we really want to do what is necessary to bring the manifestations of the Father and Jesus into our lives by the agency of the Holy Spirit? Remember, I am talking about rain clouds without rain. I don’t want to just look good, I want the purposes, the goodness, of the Kingdom to be on full display in my life.

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
