AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

THE GREATER THINGS – PART THIRTY-NINE
Greetings dear and precious saints of God and pre-saints of God. Welcome back to this enlightening study of what we the Church are commanded, empowered, and ordained to accomplish in the earth before the return of Christ. We are empowered with both authority and Power (the Blessing). As we move forward, please take a minute to share these teachings as widely as possible to expand the reach of this Ministry, the reach of the Truth, to believers and unbelievers alike. Now, once again let’s carefully read our primary text.
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
This is not the first time we have heard about this command, this mandate from the Father. It is but a reinstitution of ancient instructions. Don’t be misled by the use of the term instructions, God was not talking a do it if you want or not situation then or now. Let’s take a look at what He said then, you may have heard this referred to as the Eden Mandate which is an eternal set of commands. By the way we are no less equipped to carry out His commands today then Adam was then. In fact, we are better equipped because the Law of Sin and Death has been dealt with.
Genesis 1:26-28 (KJV)
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
First off, we see in verse 26 that God handed all authority in the earth over to man. The Prophet Amos (Amos 3:7) declared by the unction of the Holy Spirit that God does nothing except He tell His Prophets. Anything that is to be done in the earth must be declared in faith, motivated by love, and led of the Holy Spirit by a man (person). Next in verse twenty-eight we find that God has given them and us the Blessing to enforce the authority, and to accomplish all the will of God in the earth. We don’t have some sort of competing authority with the devil, we (Covenant children of God) have far superior (inadequate words) authority, hands down. Later in the same verse (28th) we see the first four of seven commands or mandates given man. We are to be fruitful, multiply, replenish, and subdue the earth. When we move over to the second chapter of Genesis, we find the final three of seven commands.
Genesis 2:15-17 (KJV)
15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
Adam and we are to dress the garden (what God have given us to take care of), and guard what God has given us to safeguard. And finally, but far from least they and we are not to mix the knowledge of good and evil. They partook of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and look at the mess that ensued requiring that God Himself come to take away sin for us to be returned to the family of God. Do we have messes in our lives because we continually partake of the world system and the Kingdom of God? There is wonderful news in the following passage.
Galatians 3:13-14 (KJV)
13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Adam/Eve died immediately spiritually when they sinned and later the flesh died, in this way death entered mankind, all the earth, for we are the lords, gods, of this earth. If we sin (and we are not required to) we don’t die spiritually immediately, we are granted a period of grace. Confession of that sin, asking for and receiving forgiveness restores us before God without blemish. Jesus gave us back full dominion, supernatural activating dominion (authority), plus we have the Blessing, the Holy Spirit and Power. Now that we are fully equipped let’s get about the business of confronting and defeating the curse one person at a time like Jesus. At the same time let us rebuild the desolate places. Lord willing, I will pick up right here next Sunday.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
