FROM THE PROPHETS CHAMBER – WEEK TWENTY-EIGHT
I WILL ARISE

Greetings dear and precious partners and friends of this Ministry and welcome back to The Three Minute Word blog. God is so good dear ones, and He is nothing but good. If it isn’t good, it isn’t God. Please take a moment to share this teaching as widely as possible. A few weeks ago, as I was fellowshipping with the Lord the following passage (particularly verse eight) was illuminated to me as a teaching for the Prophets Chamber. This is one of those verses to run to when adversity somehow gets through the door of our life. Life while the curse and the devil remain in the earth will bring adversity to us pretty regular. Whether it gets through the door or not is up to us. God has given us every tool to dominate the curse and send the devils fleeing. There are those who believe that everything is up to God and that we are just along for the ride. They believe that everything that happens is the will, the plan, of God. We hear this: “I guess this is just my cross to bear.” Really? This is unfortunately a well-entrenched deception of the Devil in the Church. Now, let’s turn our attention intently on the following lengthy passage focusing on verse eight (new beginnings) Please continue to read aloud, yes, out loud.
Micah 7:4-10 (KJV)
4 The best of them is as a brier: the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity.
5 Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.
6 For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own house.
7 Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.
8 Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.
9 I will bear the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against him, until he plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his righteousness.
10 Then she that is mine enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her which said unto me, Where is the LORD thy God? mine eyes shall behold her: now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets.
The main focus of this study is verse eight which I am presenting as an encouragement in the day of trouble. Our enemies are not flesh and blood but demonic (evil spirits) personalities whose total aim is to steal, kill, and destroy us (John 10:10). When we declare this verse, we are putting our adversaries on notice that we know we have sinned, we have a way out (repentance), that we will arise to righteousness, and the Lord will be and is a light unto us. Verses four, five, and six tell us something many already know which is that flesh and blood (family or not) can fail us. Because of the frailty of flesh and blood we look to the Lord who never fails, is not frail, moved by circumstance or emotion but by His own Word.
Micah 7:7 Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.
When we lean to the arm of the flesh primarily for our help in trouble we are not leaning on God and His help will be far from us. This is the first commandment; we are to have no other gods before us. That is not to say that we shouldn’t rely on or look to people for certain things but we look first and foremost to the Lord. This brings us to our verse of focus.
Micah 7:8 Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.
This man or woman has sinned, fallen into darkness, they realize it and put the adversary on notice that they will arise, and the Lord (the God who is love and light) will be a light (show them the root and the way out) unto them. I thank the Lord nearly every day for this verse and when in a dark spot whether it be for a few minutes, hours, or days I run to this Scripture and bring lifting up and light from my Lord to resist and repel the god of this world. Now, let’s examine the last two verses of our passage.
Micah 7:9-10
9 I will bear the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against him, until he plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his righteousness.
10 Then she that is mine enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her which said unto me, Where is the LORD thy God? mine eyes shall behold her: now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets.
This person like us has sinned whether it be willful or in ignorance, recognizes it, and is confident the Covenant will hold and the Lord will bring him/her forth into the light once again. Then, once again the adversary will be put to an open shame just like when Jesus rose from the dead. Glory be to God, what a wonderful Father, a wonderful Savior, and a wonderful Teacher and Helper.
Lord willing, I will have another fresh Word from the Throne next week.
