WHAT ABOUT ZERUBBABAL? (PART TWO)
Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to our Saturday publication From the Prophets Chamber. In the last few weeks Donna and I made the move to San Antonio, Texas. Everything has gone very well and we are excited about this new and fresh chapter in our lives. God has wonderful plans for us just as He does for each one of you as we put Him, the Kingdom, the Word first. First means first even when the flesh says otherwise.
Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Are we doing this or just talking about it? Now, please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible to expand the reach of this Ministry with the Truth. God is so good and nothing but good dear ones. If what is in your life is not good, it is not God, pure and simple. God is not in the business of putting bad things in any part of our lives. There is one person and one person alone that is responsible for the bad things that gain entry into our lives and that is we ourselves. We open or close the door of our lives to God and the devil. What have we been choosing? This is not hard; we only have to look at the fruit of our lives.
Matthew 7:16-20 (KJV)
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Do we believe this? Do we believe this applies to us? Did you notice that Jesus mentions we will know the content of a person’s heart, be it evil or be it good, by the fruit produced twice? Producing fruit is a creative act. It is the bringing forth of something that did not exist in the natural tangible or spirit realms previously. Now, lets turn our attention to Zerubbabel. Our title for this teaching asks “What about Zerubbabel”, however, we want to ask where are the Zerubbabel’s today. The temple of God, the house of God, is in a shambles, who is rebuilding this temple? We are divided into a multitude of denominations and there are schisms within local bodies. Is this division and confusion of the Lord or the devil? Hope you got this right it is of the devil pure and simple. Our God is not the author of division or confusion. Now, let’s take a broader look at our primary Bible text, but first our core Scripture.
Zechariah 4:7 (KJV)
7 Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.
You will recall that I generally meditate this Scripture while thanking God for and decreeing the Favor, Grace, of God over my life. Zerubbabel was governor of Judah (tribe for the natural lineage of Christ Jesus).
Haggai 2:2 (KJV)
2 Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and to the residue of the people, saying,
Jesus, the Messiah, established the Church, the House of God (of which the Temple represented), and left us to maintain it. How have we done? Now, let’s continue our lesson seeing what the Lord said to Zerubbabel through the Prophet Haggai.
Haggai 2:4-9 (KJV)
4 Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for I am with you, saith the LORD of hosts:
5 According to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not.
6 For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;
7 And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.
8 The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts.
9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.
As we look at verse nine can we say that the glory and peace of this latter house, the Church, is greater than the former, the Old Covenant peoples? Yes, it is but is far inferior to the original intent of God, and what Jesus provided for in His crucifixion, descent into Hell, and Resurrection. Church let us awake, arise, and triumph in the name of Jesus doing the works of Jesus and the greater works He commanded bringing the will of God into the earth, restoring the Garden of Eden in the earth everywhere we go!
Lord willing, I will again pick up this fresh Word from the Throne next week.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
