GIFTS – PART TWENTY-TWO
Friday – March 20, 2020, Adar 24, 5780

Greetings dear and precious saints of God and once again welcome back to the Friday Bible Study titled “Gifts”. Our God is so, so, good. If you are reading this on Facebook please take a moment to hit the “love” and “share” buttons to give us feedback and to increase the reach of this Ministry. Again, we invite all that read, study, and benefit from this Ministry to financially partner with us that we may abound to every good work.
2 Corinthians 9:8 (KJV)
8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
Ladies be sure you are registered for the Women’s Conference coming on the 30th of May 2020 at the New Beginnings Church of God in Waterville, Maine with a very special speaker, Rev. Denise Stiewig, of San Antonio, Texas. Denise and her husband Jeff will also be ministering at Beacon of Hope Church of God (Pastor David & Phyllis Bean) in Bangor Maine on the 10th of May, and Celebrate Jesus Church of God (Pastor Thomas & Lori DuPerry) in Pittsfield Maine on the 24th of May.
Our God, the only living God has given us many, many, gifts and they are all attained the same way. Jesus paid for it all and we attain or become a partaker of them all by faith, in love, led of the Holy Spirit starting with the entry or foundational gift of salvation.
Ephesians 2:8 (KJV)
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Now let’s pick up with the legal foundation that God had to lay, prepare, before bringing the Savior into the earth. Yes, He works by His own laws, the same ones we work by. God did not give mankind freewill and dominion (authority) over all the earth and then yank it away saying, “just kidding”. God found a man in the person of Abram, later named Abraham, who would make a Blood Covenant with Him and set the stage for the coming of the One who could and would remedy the sin and curse calamity. The willingness, the obedience, and the faith of Abram (Abraham) in God in the Blood Covenant provided the legal foundation necessary for God to bring the Word (Jesus) into the earth. I have been laying this legal foundation out in a meticulous fashion for twenty-two weeks. Now, let’s turn to a portion of one of the most pivotal Scriptures in all the Bible and read it aloud.
Genesis 22:15-19 (KJV)
15 And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time,
16 And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:
17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
19 So Abraham returned unto his young men, and they rose up and went together to Beersheba; and Abraham dwelt at Beersheba.
We have been tracing the life of Abram from Ur of the Chaldees to Haran and now into Canaan land later to be known as the Promised Land and now the Holy Land. That land was deeded to the Jewish people as an everlasting inheritance by our Almighty God through the obedience and faith of Abram/Abraham. After some twenty-five (perhaps more) years of God dealing with Abram, the child of promise, Isaac, was born to Abraham who was then just shy of one-hundred and Sarah who was ninety. When we picked up the account in Genesis chapter twenty-two (number of light) Isaac’s age is not clear but was likely between twelve to thirteen and thirty-three. I understand that is a wide spread but Isaac needed to be old enough to be of an age of consent and an age sufficient to be about the business of God which in Hebrew (Jewish) culture is age twelve. On the other hand, he could have been as old as thirty-three the age of Jesus when He went to the Cross. After all, this account is a type and shadow of the Father and the Son (Jesus – the Word). As we have been studying in the preceding weeks the time came in Genesis chapter twenty-two for the Blood Covenant to be put to the test and Abraham and Isaac have excelled. The deal is sealed, now God has to work to bring all the necessary pieces together for the coming of Jesus (the Word). That was perhaps not hard for God but as you know there were many prophecies that needed to be fulfilled and God is herding cats. What I am saying is that it took tremendous patience on the part of God. It was never the will of God for man to sin in the first place much less suffer for four thousand years from the Garden of Eden to the Cross. But man is a freewill creation of God and has dominion in the earth and God had to and has to work in that environment. Lord willing, I will pick up right here next Friday.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
