GOOD SHEPHERD – BAD SHEPHERD – PART TWO

Greetings and welcome back to this ongoing Sunday teaching series. Please take a moment and share this teaching as you have others before this to expand the reach of Eastern Gate Ministries International. God is good dear ones, let’s let others know this as well. As you know I spoke for many weeks about the need for repentance in the Church trying to bring clarity to the dire need for repentance. The Church is looking for all sorts of people to repent and not themselves. Why is the Church oblivious to the need for repentance? Other people cannot repent for us, it just doesn’t work that way dear ones. You and I are the governing authority in the earth! Why do we bow our knee to everyone but God?
Genesis 1:26 (KJV)
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. (Bold added)
Adam bowed his knee to the Serpent however Jesus got every bit of our authority (dominion) back and we now walk in that authority, His Power of Attorney.
Matthew 28:18-20 (KJV)
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
The word “power” in verse eighteen above is authority or dominion. At salvation we were elevated to the right hand of the Father in Christ Jesus. Just how many demons do you suppose are roaming around the Throne? Why do we allow them to roam around us creating all kinds of chaos and confusion? Lousy feed from the shepherds.
Ephesians 1:20-23 (KJV)
20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
Where are we seated again?
Ephesians 2:6 (KJV)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
The only thing not under our authority which is backed by the Power of God (Blessing) are the persons of the Triune Coequal God. What are we doing with this supernatural, far above “all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named” dominion (authority)? Seems like very little. Why don’t we see this as a major reason for repentance, to be on our face before God, to get on the path with Him, not our own, not that false path created by poor shepherds. I understand that you may “love” your Pastor, your shepherd, but be honest and look at the quality of the fruit produced in the sheep (congregation). Yes, yes, yes, there may be good things happening. Were they God directed? Do they look like the Ministry of Jesus? Do they look like the “greater things” Jesus told us to do? Are we walking in the footsteps of Jesus?
Acts 10:38 (KJV)
38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
If we put our name in place of “Jesus of Nazareth” is it still a true statement? Aren’t we Anointed with the same Holy Ghost (Spirit)? Are we going about doing good? Doing good has to do with money, the use of resources, to change the trajectory of individual people and peoples. Doing good is not best wishes and “I will pray for you”. These are good in and of themselves but we need concrete things we are doing led of the Lord which builds people in turn building the Kingdom of God. Are we healing (God doing the works) all that the Holy Spirit brings to us for healing? Is this taught at our Churches?
2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Is God looking for us (His people) to turn from our wicked ways or Satan’s people? Our wicked ways include but are far from limited to not doing the things He did and the greater things.
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
