HALL OF JUDGMENT
Greetings dear and precious saints of the only living God. Welcome back to this very powerful, if received, believed, and put into action, Bible Study of the Book of John. As you are all too well aware COVID-19 is still with us and killing people at a very regular rate. The various governments across the United States and around the world are trying to deal with this pandemic on the natural level. Church and heathen alike are in rebellion against the various Executive Orders put in place for the health and safety of everyone. Yes, masks work, this is proven science, and yes, vaccinations work. Follow the law (Executive Orders), wear your mask, get the flu shot if you haven’t already, and when a perfected COVID-19 vaccination or other preventative is available get it also. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text and read it aloud, yes, out loud.
John 18:28-32 (KJV)
28 Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment: and it was early; and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled; but that they might eat the passover.
29 Pilate then went out unto them, and said, What accusation bring ye against this man?
30 They answered and said unto him, If he were not a malefactor, we would not have delivered him up unto thee.
31 Then said Pilate unto them, Take ye him, and judge him according to your law. The Jews therefore said unto him, It is not lawful for us to put any man to death:
32 That the saying of Jesus might be fulfilled, which he spake, signifying what death he should die.
As the day of Jesus’ Crucifixion unfolds, we find Jesus being taken to yet a third location, that is the Judgment Hall of Pilate the Roman Governor. As we have seen almost from day one of Jesus’ Ministry the organized traditional Church of the day has wanted to kill Jesus. Be very assured that if or when any of us start to do as commanded we too will be hated to the point of Church leaders (not the world) wanting to kill us. This is one of His commands.
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Pilate knew the Chief Priests had delivered Jesus to him for crucifixion due to envy.
Mark 15:9-13 (KJV)
9 But Pilate answered them, saying, Will ye that I release unto you the King of the Jews?
10 For he knew that the chief priests had delivered him for envy. (Bold added)
11 But the chief priests moved the people, that he should rather release Barabbas unto them.
12 And Pilate answered and said again unto them, What will ye then that I shall do unto him whom ye call the King of the Jews?
13 And they cried out again, Crucify him.
Envy is very ugly allowed to run it demonic evil course. Some synonyms for envy include jealousy, greed, bitterness, resentment, and spite. One definition of ‘envy’ is a feeling of discontented or resentful longing aroused by someone else’s possessions, qualities, or luck. The priests of that day were at the very center of and controlled to a great extent religious, social, and economic life. Jesus was upsetting that applecart with an uplifting message of the Kingdom of God plus doing many wonderous works. They were doing no wonderful works of healing, casting our demons, raising the dead, or any other signs and wonders like Jesus was doing. Are we doing any of these things? If not, why not? Back to envy for a moment as we close for today.
Acts 7:9 (KJV)
9 And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him,
Notice the wicked company envy keeps.
Galatians 5:19-23 (KJV)
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. (Bold added)
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Works of the flesh, works brought by the devil, include envy and works of the flesh brings stealing, killing, and destruction into our lives. Envy sent Jesus to the Cross and Joseph into Egypt but God took both circumstances since they were faithful and brought about wonderous results. Let us end with this warning from God through the Apostle Paul.
Galatians 5:26 (KJV)
26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another. (Bold added)

2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
