HE HATH DONE EXCELLENT THINGS

Greetings dear saints of God and welcome back to this revealing and instructive Bible Study of the Book of Isaiah. God is so good to give us His Word so that we can know how the Kingdom of God operates and we as citizens and family know our obligations and privileges. Yes, we are Kingdom citizens and we need to know (really know, as part of our identity), operate, and act as those of a royal priesthood. As I move forward, please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible to increase this Ministries reach with the gospel, the good news, the Truth. Thank you for sharing! You are an important, irreplaceable part of this Ministry. The beautiful picture today of Donna and me was taken recently outside a Cracker Barrel restaurant here in San Antonio.
Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text and continue reading out loud. If you are new to The Three Minute Word, let me explain why it is important to read Scripture (especially) aloud. According to Romans 10:17 faith comes by hearing the Word of God, and it is impossible to please God without faith according to Hebrews 11:6. Do we truly have ears to hear and do we have a fully persuaded heart concerning the Word of God? Now, to our Bible text reading aloud with ears to hear.
Isaiah 12:1-6 (KJV)
1 And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.
2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.
3 Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.
4 And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.
5 Sing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.
6 Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.
Before we move forward, please read and listen (remember, you are reading out loud) to the following announcement.

Today I will pick up once again with the fifth verse of our primary Bible text. Yesterday I presented the 98th Psalm which has a similar theme of singing, speaking, of the wondrous things the Lord has done. Chief among His wondrous acts is His glorious salvation for all who will choose Him. The Prophet Isaiah, the mouth of God in the earth, declares that “he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.” If the Lord says everyone knows at one time or another, then everyone knows. Looking at verse six of our text, not only are the redeemed Jews (Hebrews) to cry out, “great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee” but the Church as well! This passage from Romans is another witness to the whole earth, everyone, knowing on some level that salvation is available and will have no excuse at the judgment. We don’t have to be super saint theologians to end up in Heaven. Many require a great ceremony before they are satisfied the person is saved, not so with God. When we make even the slightest move toward Him with our heart and mouth, He runs to us and gathers us into the Kingdom. O what a Savior! Let us carefully examine, receive, believe, doubt not, the following passage.
Romans 1:18-22 (KJV)
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.
Let us pray for those who are lost around about us that all pride be removed and all foolishness be removed and they see and receive this glorious salvation. We know many will be lost, many have already been lost and gone to Hell but we want to shrink that number as much as in our power. We must show them Christ Jesus in us, not religion, but the goodness of God which draws people to salvation.
Lord willing, I will pick up in Isaiah Chapter thirteen next week.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Receive the blessing in Jesus’ name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (MSG)
24 GOD bless you and keep you,
25 GOD smile on you and gift you,
26 GOD look you full in the face and make you prosper.
