HEALTH, HEALING, AND MIRACLES – PART TWENTY-ONE

Greetings to the partners, friends, and new readers of The Three Minute Word. The purpose of these teachings is to strengthen us and to further the Kingdom of God. We are already in the image and likeness of God with regard to our spirit man but our mind (soul) needs to be renewed to the thoughts, words, and ways of God. This nourishing of the soul is also medicine to our physical man. We are all on assignment from the Father for the Kingdom of God in the earth. We will age, however, at some point our assignment(s) will be completed and we can lay down this body and return to Heaven. We must get away from the expectation, the devilish idea that we will die of something, that we have to die of some disease. We have dominion, authority, over all things in the earth including our physical bodies which are of the earth. Now, let’s talk about feeding five thousand people.
Matthew 14:15-21 (KJV)
15 And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals.
16 But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat.
17 And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes.
18 He said, Bring them hither to me.
19 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.
20 And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.
21 And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.
I think by any measure we can all agree this is a remarkable event, a supernatural event. It would seem that a very conservative estimate of the number of people feed that day is likely well north of ten thousand. If this was done on a regular basis the supermarkets and farmers would all be out of business. That certainly is not the will of the Lord for God is the inventor of commerce and just profits. This event was the will of the Father and is a part of the Word of God to assist us in the building of our faith. They were in a remote or “desert place” however according to the disciples there were villages within a reasonable distance where the people could have purchased victuals (food). It is worth noting that immediately following this account is the testimony of Jesus and Peter walking on the water, which we will cover at a future date.
Where did the food come from that fed this very large multitude? We know there was five loaves of bread and two fish available. Did the Father just download an abundance of food from Heaven’s storeroom to feed this people with twelve baskets left over when all were fed and full? I have heard accounts of people who claim that God has storerooms in Heaven with all sorts of things including body parts for download as needed in response to faith. I find no Bible model or Scripture to support that viewpoint. Perhaps this was a “creative miracle” and the additional food was created by the Father (Holy Spirit) on the spot just like when the heavens and the earth were created. The heavens and the earth were not created out of nothing but out of things we do not and cannot see in the natural.
Hebrews 11:3 (KJV)
3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
All the temporal things of this earth and the heavens were made from the elements or building blocks of the spirit (Heaven). By the way, the creation in the time of Adam was not a temporary creation until sin. Corruption by sin brought about a progressive decay. So, back to my question, did God, the Father by the agency of the Holy Spirit, just create several thousand loaves of bread and fish to feed this multitude? God certainly has the power but not the authority plus that act would be inconsistent with the whole of other Scripture. I have concluded that this was not a transfer from a Heavenly Storehouse and it was not an extemporaneous (impromptu) creation so what is the third option? As we all think about this let me illuminate an example of the same thing given us right from the beginning.
Genesis 2:18 (KJV)
18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
Genesis 2:21-23 (KJV)
21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
Where did Eve, the Woman, come from? I will pick up right here next Sunday, the Lord willing. Until our next publication, I speak this Scriptural prayer for your life right now, receive it in the name of Jesus, confess it, and walk it out with thanksgiving.

26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.
