AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

Greetings dear and precious saints of the Only Living God. Welcome back to this powerful and insightful study of the wonderful Book of Isaiah. We are such a blessed and empowered people to have the Word of God. Before I move forward, please take a moment and share these teachings as widely as possible increasing our reach with the Truth. Even if you currently believe that all that has passed away, not applicable for today, you may find my brief discussion guided by the Holy Spirit useful.
Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text continuing to read out loud. You are reading out loud, right? You know why.
Isaiah 9:6-7 (KJV)
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
This Book of Isaiah along with the other 38 Books of what is commonly referred to as the Old Testament warn against sin and its terrible consequences. Intermingled in this Book of Isaiah as well as many other Books of the Old Testament is the message of a much needed and coming Messiah. This Messiah is the One we know as Christ the Lord. Is He Messiah (Savior) and Lord in our lives or just Savior? Many want and like the idea of a Savior but many do not like the idea of a Lord. That is rebellion. As far as the Bible is concerned, who is the chief rebel and the one from whom we get the fallen nature to be rebellious? It is Lucifer fallen now known by many names including the Devil. This rebellious nature of the flesh (physical body plus unrenewed mind) is where lust of eye, lust of the flesh, and pride of life reside. Pride of life is particularly offensive to God and includes judging people and unforgiveness. We are not hapless creatures with no control over sin with the idea that after all we all sin it is inevitable. That is a lie. We are the only ones that decide if and when we sin. God does not make us sin, other people cannot make us sin, and the devils cannot make us sin. We and we alone make the decision to sin or not.
For us today we are looking back upon the child who was born and Christ Jesus is His name. For those who have received Him, which includes the Father and Holy Spirit, He is Savior and Lord. A Son has been given, the only begotten of the Father at the time of His birth, now millions who received Him as Savior and Lord are also begotten of the Father, sons of God.
1 John 3:1-2 (KJV)
1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
This is Bible dear ones; this is the Truth! The government of the Kingdom of God is upon the shoulders of the body of Christ. Jesus is the Head and we are the body, the shoulders are in the body and those the carrying out of the mandates of our Master falls to us. We are the ekklēsia! The ekklēsia, commonly called the Church, are those who are called out (all are called many don’t answer the call) to govern in the earth. We who are the children of God have absolute authority in the earth and His Power to back that authority up according to the will of God. The instructions for the ekklēsia come from the government of Heaven (the Father) through the Head (Christ Jesus) to us the ekklēsia via the Holy Spirit. It is our job to carry out these instructions. This idea is foreshadowed by the setup of the government of Greece. Greeks did not come up with the idea, the demons copied and perverted a God idea, as they do all the rest. This brings us to the name, His Name, which are many. These names include but is not limited to Wonderful Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, and the Prince of Peace.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow. Remember, we love you and there is nothing you can do about it.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
