I CAME FORTH FROM THE FATHER
Greetings children, sons, and daughters of the only Living God and welcome back to this wonderful, powerful, life changing Bible Study of the Book of John. Please take a moment right now, yes, right now, to share this teaching as widely as possible. God sees. Today is my birthday, number 73, and I am going strong giving thanks and glory to my Lord and Father. The featured picture is of me some years ago. I think that is a Tom Mix funny book in my lap.
Concerning COVID-19, we have done very well here in the State of Maine in spite of a common rebellion by the Church and the heathen alike. Our fight is not with flesh and blood but with demonic forces. Our rebellion against the government, Walmart and others is also and most importantly rebellion against God. I strongly urge all to not become complacent in any way but be vigilant especially spiritually. The Church at large has not repented and attacked this pestilence on a spiritual level so worse is yet to come. There is a rising remnant who will do the things Jesus did.
Acts 10:38 (KJV)
38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
They will also do the greater things, such as the following.
Isaiah 61:4 (KJV)
4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.
This rising remnant will change, revitalize, any person, any home, any community, any city who will receive them. Are you committed to being a part of the rising remnant who bring the end-time move of God? The end-time move of God is not God moving independent of man with us as simply spectators, interested parties. With the exception of the creation before man God has never moved independent of a man (people). He moves through people and on the authority of their words (His Words in their mouth [like Jesus]) What does that look like? Does it look like yesteryear or is it going be a new thing? It will be both. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text for today and read it aloud, yes, out loud.
John 16:26-31 (KJV)
26 At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:
27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.
28 I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.
29 His disciples said unto him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb.
30 Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God.
31 Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe?
I will be picking up today with verse twenty-eight. God is so good to give us His Word, we don’t have to play a guessing game, but we can know exactly the heart of our God. He tells us exactly what pleases Him and what doesn’t. Let’s go ahead and pick up the teaching Jesus is providing to the assembled disciples and to us. We saw at the end of the 27th verse that it is important to know and believe that Jesus “came out from God”. Then He repeats this information saying, “I came forth from the Father”. Jesus goes on to say that when I came forth from the Father, I came into the world, but now I am leaving the world and returning to the Father. He had a round trip ticket and the devil didn’t know it. The mystery of salvation through the coming of Jesus as a man, dying on the Cross, and being resurrected from the dead and being restored as God was hidden from “princes of this world”, including Satan himself. The Apostle Paul speaks of this.
1 Corinthians 2:6-8 (KJV)
6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
If the Devil had known this, he would have just let Jesus live and never brought Him to the Cross. In this way the plan of God which was wrapped in a mystery to the devils would have been thwarted. One wonders how this is possible since it was all prophesied over the centuries starting with the Garden of Eden on the day of sin and death. God does not have a Covenant with darkness and His mysteries are hidden in the light. They are hidden for those in Covenant, those who are walking in the light. In this case the plan of God was hidden from the devils right in plain sight.
Before the womb of Mary Jesus was the second person of the co-equal Triune God. He was fully God as was and is the Father and the Holy Spirit. The first person of God was not called Father until the presence of Jesus in the womb of Mary before that He was Jehovah the self-existent eternal One (and still is). Before the womb of Mary Jesus was the Word and other names
John 1:1 (KJV)
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:14 (KJV)
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Upon leaving Heaven the Word (Jesus) shed all that made Him God and became flesh like other men.
Philippians 2:7 (NLT)
7 Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form,
Before the womb of Mary Jesus was all God, from the womb of Mary until the Resurrection He was all man, but at the Resurrection He is all man and all God. Notice the following verse.
1 Timothy 2:5 (KJV)
5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
Notice that between the Father and us is a God, Christ Jesus, and a man, Christ Jesus. Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow.
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
