I GO TO THE FATHER

Greetings children, sons, and daughters of the only Living God and welcome back to this wonderful, powerful, life changing Bible Study of the Book of John. Please take a moment right now, yes, right now, to share this teaching as widely as possible. God sees. The featured picture today of Donna and me was taken at the Celebrate Jesus Church of God in Pittsfield, Maine last fall.
Concerning COVID-19, we have done very well here in the State of Maine in spite of the rebellion in the Church and by the heathen. I strongly urge all to not become complacent in any way but be vigilant especially spiritually.
1 Thessalonians 5:3 (KJV)
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
The Church at large has not repented and attacked this pestilence on a spiritual level so worse is yet to come.
Ephesians 6:12 (KJV)
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
There is a rising remnant which will change everything.
Jeremiah 23:3-4 (KJV)
3 And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.
4 And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the LORD.
The things that Jesus did, and the greater things are at hand. This rising remnant will change, revitalize, any person, any home, any community, any city who will receive of God through them.
Isaiah 61:4 (KJV)
4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.
Are you committed to being a part of the end-time move of God? What does it look like? Does it look like yesteryear or is it going be a new thing? Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text for today and read it aloud, yes, out loud.
John 16:26-31 (KJV)
26 At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:
27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.
28 I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.
29 His disciples said unto him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb.
30 Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God.
31 Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe?
When I left off yesterday, we were focused on verse twenty-eight and the process of Jesus coming out from the Father and returning to the Father. Jesus came into the world to address and remove the sin problem.
1 John 3:8 (KJV)
8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. (Bold added)
John 10:10 (KJV)
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. (Bold added)
The destruction, the curse, that came with sin is under our feet, in our authority, when we chose Jesus as our Lord and Savior and we receive eternal life and an overflowing abundant life (life as God knows life, now, and in the hereafter). I will conclude for today and this week on the Book of John with the following passage. The following passage tells us about the restoration of Jesus as God. As you will recall before the womb of Mary Jesus (the Word) was all God, all man in the womb of Mary, but upon the Resurrection all God (our King, God, and Lord), and all man (our High Priest). This is at least a part, a vital part at least to us of what the Father said to Jesus upon His Resurrection.
Hebrews 1:5-9 (KJV)
5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
Notice in verse five the Father says that again He is a Father and Jesus is a Son to Him. The first time Jesus was a Son was in the womb of Mary. He ceased to be a Son on the Cross, separated from the Father by sin, the wages of sin are death and He was made sin. However, He was found innocent, by His testimony and His own innocent Blood He was saved, raised from the spiritually dead and the physically dead becoming the first begotten into the world. Each of us dear ones are also begotten of the Father in our time as we accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. Notice in verse eight (new beginnings) that Jesus is restored as God. In verse nine (spiritual completion) Jesus is Anointed above “thy fellows” which is you and me dear ones. He is the Head and we are the body and we both have the very same Anointing.
I hope you have enjoyed this deep dive and the light it brings with rejoicing. Our God is so good. We are restored to the family of God in Christ Jesus, the children of God, empowered to the original intent of God and beyond.
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
