Greetings precious saints of God and welcome back to this Bible teaching of the wonderful Book of Isaiah. The Lord is so good. Please take a moment and share this and all teachings of this Ministry as widely as possible by every means available to you. Thank you so much for sharing. We all need the Truth; we are responsible to live it and share it as opportunity arises and led of the Holy Spirit. What people with whom we share do with it is up to them just as it has been up to us from the age of understanding. Scripture tells us that some plant, some water, but it is God that gives the increase. The results are above our pay grade so to speak. The featured picture is of one bird feeding another, this picture was provided by Marilyn Stevens who takes wonderful pictures. Thank you, Marilyn.
Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text in the wonderful Book of Isaiah continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 50:4-9 (KJV)
4 The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.
5 The Lord GOD hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back.
6 I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.
7 For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.
8 He is near that justifieth me; who will contend with me? let us stand together: who is mine adversary? let him come near to me.
9 Behold, the Lord GOD will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? lo, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up.
As we move forward into verse six, we suddenly become aware that this is Jesus speaking, these are Messianic verses. Now, that does not mean I have to go back and rewrite the last several days but we must understand that these things apply to us. We are to study to increase knowledge and rightly divide the Word of God, then and only then can we have the tongue of the learned submitted wholly to the Holy Spirit. We are to awaken every morning, all day (even all night) with ears to hear. Let us not be rebellious and refuse to study, attending to those who preach what we want to hear not what we need to hear, the whole Truth. Jesus is our example, are we following this pure example?
Jesus came for the express purpose of destroying the works of the devil begun in the Garden of Eden.
1 John 3:8 (KJV)
8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
We are redeemed from the curse of the law of sin and death. We have received or have access to the blessing of Abraham (physical/natural) and we have received the Holy Spirit (all spiritual blessings are ours for the taking).
Galatians 3:13-14 (KJV)
13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Jesus was made sin for us and paid the price of sin on the Cross and in Hell.
2 Corinthians 5:21 (KJV)
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
There is no stealing, killing or destroying in the Kingdom of God, only abundance, Jesus said so.
John 10:10 (KJV)
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow.

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (KJV)
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
