Greetings precious saints of God and welcome back to this Bible teaching of the wonderful Book of Isaiah. The Lord is so good. Please take a moment and share this and all teachings of this Ministry as widely as possible by every means available to you. Thank you so much for sharing. We all need the Truth; we are responsible to live it and share it as opportunity arises and led of the Holy Spirit. What people with whom we share do with it is up to them just as it has been up to us from the age of understanding. Scripture tells us that some plant, some water, but it is God that gives the increase. The results are above our pay grade so to speak. The featured picture today is of Donna and me at the Saltgrass Steakhouse on my birthday last August. I know, many of our pictures are either in or in front of a restaurant.
Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text in the wonderful Book of Isaiah continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 50:4-9 (KJV)
4 The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.
5 The Lord GOD hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back.
6 I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.
7 For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.
8 He is near that justifieth me; who will contend with me? let us stand together: who is mine adversary? let him come near to me.
9 Behold, the Lord GOD will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? lo, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up.
Yesterday we thought about and talked about all that happened to Jesus just before the Cross and even on the Cross. I don’t know that any of us can get our heads around it. I talked about what Scripture said about the mission of Jesus in the earth. We looked at the Truth that He came to be our “scapegoat” taking our punishment for sin. He was a sinless man, the only one who could pay for the sin of Adam. Jesus came into the earth to die physically and spiritually for us. When Adam sinned, he (both Adam and the woman) died spiritually on the spot and died later physically. Same pattern as we see on the Cross. The difference is that Jesus had innocent blood and had words of a testimony to speak that caused the Father to bring Him roaring from Hell and the grave with His Blood for us to the Mercy Seat and the Right Hand of the Father.
Revelation 12:11 (KJV)
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Jesus presented His own innocent Blood to the Court of Heaven and gave this testimony.
Psalm 16:10-11 (KJV)
10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
Jesus was restored by the Father (and the Holy Spirit) to life, to the presence of the Father, seated now and forever at His Right Hand. We are saved (yes, Jesus was the first born from the dead) in the same way, by His Blood and the word of our testimony that He is our Lord and Savior.
Romans 5:8-10 (KJV)
8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
Lord willing, I will have to pick up right here next week. Remember we love you and there is nothing you can do about it.

2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (KJV)
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
