IF I HAVE SPOKEN EVIL

Greetings dear and precious saints of the only living God. Welcome back to this very powerful, if received, believed, and put into action, Bible Study of the Book of John. Please take a moment and share this Bible teaching as widely as possible. God is so good friends and partners. If you are not a partner with this Ministry become one today, remember, it is impossible to reap without sowing. The featured picture today was taken by my beautiful wife on a recent trip to the coast. You are invited to join our Wednesday Night Bible Study on Zoom 6 pm Eastern Time. If you have not joined previously contact me for the meeting id and password. Come expecting. We look forward to seeing you. As you are all too well aware COVID-19 is still with us and killing people at a very regular rate. The various governments across the United States and around the world are trying to deal with this pandemic on the natural level. The Church is responsible for the emergence of this pandemic and for its defeat. Church and heathen alike are in rebellion against the various Executive Orders put in place for the health and safety of everyone. Yes, masks work, this is proven science, and yes, vaccinations work. Follow the law (Executive Orders), wear your mask, get the flu shot if you haven’t already, and when a perfected COVID-19 vaccination or other preventative is available get it also. Some Churches have been exemplary examples and witnesses during this pandemic to their communities and sadly others have not. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text and read it aloud, yes, out loud.
John 18:22-27 (KJV)
22 And when he had thus spoken, one of the officers which stood by struck Jesus with the palm of his hand, saying, Answerest thou the high priest so?
23 Jesus answered him, If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil: but if well, why smitest thou me?
24 Now Annas had sent him bound unto Caiaphas the high priest.
25 And Simon Peter stood and warmed himself. They said therefore unto him, Art not thou also one of his disciples? He denied it, and said, I am not.
26 One of the servants of the high priest, being his kinsman whose ear Peter cut off, saith, Did not I see thee in the garden with him?
27 Peter then denied again: and immediately the cock crew.
We are in the final hours of Jesus’ life in the earth as an Anointed natural man like unto us. As you will recall Jesus has surrendered to the mob led by Judas Iscariot and taken to Annas, the father in law to Caiaphas the High Priest. In verse twenty-two above we see that our redemption is underway.
Isaiah 53:5 (KJV)
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Jesus being bound, slapped in chastisement is minor to what will follow but nonetheless essential to making us free, totally free from the curse, and the law of sin and death. Jesus was totally innocent of evil but as we all know that will not stop the religious leaders from getting Him crucified. As we already know and will see as this unfolds both Jew and Gentile are responsible for the Crucifixion of Jesus. In this way He died for all. Jesus is of the seed of Abraham and thus we in Christ Jesus are as well. Let’s take a moment and review some of these wonderful promises now being fulfilled as Jesus is about to finish His purpose in the earth.
Genesis 12:1-3 (KJV)
1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. (Bold added)
“In thee” in the third verse is referring to the natural seed that would end in the womb of Mary and on Golgotha’s hill. This of course was vital but even more important was the restoration of our spiritual positioning as children, sons of God.
Galatians 3:13-14 (KJV)
13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Jesus has by His sacrifice made us free from the curse and restored the Blessing, the Holy Spirit. Jew and Gentile alike can receive Jesus the Christ as Lord and walk in a redemption that is even better than the original creation. Our spirit man does not immediately die when we sin. Can someone say Hallelujah?
Galatians 3:16 (KJV)
16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
Jesus, the Christ (Messiah) is the Seed who has redeemed all who receive His finished work making Him Lord and Savior.
Galatians 3:29 (KJV)
29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
I belong to Christ, who do you belong to Christ? When God redeems or restores something, they or it is not returned to its original condition but is returned at a higher level and so it is with the redemption. Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow.
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
