THE GREATER THINGS – PART TWELVE
Greetings dear and precious friends and partners of Eastern Gate Ministries International, Inc. Please take a moment to share this teaching as widely as possible. If you do not have the meeting id and password for Zoom please contact us to obtain them. The COVID-19 Pandemic remains with us and is and will continue to spike into the winter. I encourage all Christians to follow the law, wear your masks don’t be a “mask slacker” (yes, yes, yes, they work!), keep gatherings according to the current mandate, and practice social distancing. If you have questions, I suggest you go back and again read the Position Paper I published on the 12th of September concerning COVID-19. It would be a serious mistake to think of that paper as one opinion among many. I do not say that pridefully but with all Godly humility. Many Churches have been and remain horrible examples of good citizenship of civil government and the Kingdom of God. We have an obligation as citizens to follow the laws of the land and God. Disobeying the law of the land is disobedience to God which has far more important and far reaching consequences.
God is so good to give us His Truth withholding nothing from His children, sons and daughters. He has given us our purpose, made us in His image and likeness to look like Him and do like Him. The Scripture even refers to us as gods (small g). There is absolutely nothing we can’t do in Him, in faith, in love, led of the Holy Spirit. Nothing dear ones!! So, what is the holdup? Let me give all of us a clue, it is not God and it is not the Word, and it is not some foolish explanation of it not being our time. It is always our time in Him. The foot dragging is not by the Lord. According to the command of the Lord we are to be doing the things He did in the earth and greater things. I am not aware of anyone consistently doing what Jesus did, say nothing of the greater things. How long will we be slack? Let’s look once again at Jesus’ command for us to do what He did and greater works.
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Please do not think this is an isolated reference, it is not. What did Jesus teach/preach? Are we to teach and preach entirely different than Jesus but expect the same result? Of course not, that would be foolishness, we are to preach what He preached and taught and then and only then will we get His results and move into the greater works.
Mark 1:15 (KJV)
15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
What is this gospel of the Kingdom of God?
Isaiah 61:1-4 (KJV)
1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.
The first verse and half are what Jesus preached, we are to preach this whole chapter and much more. The gospel of the Kingdom is every good thing being absent the curse. We are delivered, redeemed, from the curse, the blessing of Abraham, the Holy Spirit with Power has come.
Matthew 24:14 (KJV)
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
Where ever there was faith the Words Jesus taught were with Power. We are not to come in word only but in the Power of God.
1 Thessalonians 1:5 (KJV)
5 For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.
Mark 16:15 (KJV)
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
The Gospel is that the Kingdom of God has returned authority and Power to mankind according to God’s original intent. That is for those who declare Him as Lord and are filled with the Holy Spirit.
Mark 16:19-20 (KJV)
19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
These folks preached what Jesus preached and got His results, when did we lose it? This is still the will of God. Lord willing, I will pick up right here next Sunday.
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
