LIFE IN HEAVEN – PART FIFTY-FOUR

TIME FRAME SEVEN
THE ONE THOUSAND YEAR REIGN OF CHRIST
So good to see you back, you are indeed a brave soul. Let your imagination soar with me, with the Spirit of God. It is wonderful and exciting! This series will conclude over the next several weeks and I fully intend to take this material plus new material and turn it into a book since this week to week study has been such a blessing to many. By way of review let’s take a look at the eight time-frames that God instructed me to write about. We are currently reviewing the seventh time frame which brings things into full spiritual completion (number seven).
- Eternity before Genesis 1:1
- Genesis 1:1 to 1:2 (may have been billions of years)
- Genesis 1:3 to Genesis 3:6 the Day of Sin and Death
- Genesis 3:6 to Jesus putting His Blood on the Mercy Seat
- Resurrection to the Rapture
- Rapture or Catching Away to the Second Coming
- One Thousand Year Reign
- Eternity Future
During the thousand-year reign of the King of kings and the Lord of lords, one might ask, who is in Heaven and who is in earth? One might be tempted to say that all of the saints and all of the armies of Heaven (angels) are in the earth. Does that sound right or logical? Natural systems are a mirror of the spiritual system i.e. Heaven.
Romans 1:20 (AMP)
20 For ever since the creation of the world His invisible nature and attributes, that is, His eternal power and divinity, have been made intelligible and clearly discernible in and through the things that have been made (His handiworks). So [men] are without excuse [altogether without any defense or justification],
The ‘Wood paraphrase’ is this, if you have an understanding of how natural systems work you have great insight into how Gods’ supernatural systems works. The point that I am coming to is this. When an army goes to war not everyone is engaged in the battle but there is a great contingency that support the war effort behind the lines. Afterall life will be ongoing in Heaven. The Father is still on the throne in Heaven, uncountable numbers of angels will be in Heaven and about the Throne. There will be a very large number of new arrivals from the Tribulation period all of which need orientation, skill development, and extensive teaching. As a result of this need there will be large number of saints who are assigned to carry out these tasks and others. I spoke at great length several weeks ago about the Pillars or Spheres of Influence of Society in both Heaven and earth. Each of us have various assignments for which God has uniquely equipped us. Many if not the vast majority arrive in Heaven with a very corrupted understanding of the Word of God and thus of the Kingdom of God. Tremendous retraining will be ongoing (see my Saturday series on “Traditions, Lies, and Truth”). And what after the great battle described below, the last gasp of Satan?
Revelation 20:7-10 (KJV)
7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Oh, what a day that will be when Satan and his hoards meet their eternal fate! And the people?
Revelation 20:11-15 (KJV)
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
This is the second resurrection, the second death. Verse fifteen leaves the impression there are people saved during the 1000-year reign of Jesus who did not join the rebellion and their names are found in the book of life. All others, those who have died and those still alive whose names are not in the book of life are cast into the lake of fire. By the way the number one-thousand (1000) means Divine Completeness and The Glory of God.
Revelation 21:1 (KJV)
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
Until our next publication, confess the following passage and walk before Whom we have to do with great rejoicing and thanksgiving. This physical body is our humiliation but soon it will be no more for the glory of God and our eternal benefit.
John 14:1-4 (KJV)
1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
