TIME FRAME SIX
THE CATCHING AWAY TO THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST
Greeting dear fellow sojourners, kings, and priests in the earth. I hope you are finding this exploration of Life in Heaven as provoking as I have in writing about it. It is my conviction that we really know a lot more about Heaven than we think. The reason for that is that in the beginning there really was not a demonstrable difference between Heaven and the Garden of Eden. Of course, sin brought cataclysmic change, corruption, but there is still much beauty and the system of life is recognizable for we live it every day. Just imagine your current life without resistance (evil spirits, world system, and the corruption of all things) and that all including our bodies is the very finest (God level fine) and undefiled (God level pure). We all have assignments in the earth of God whether you have been taught that in Church or not. If you don’t know that get before God and see what you are supposed to be doing to further the Kingdom. Do not fear, His yoke is easy and His burden is light. You may think of all the wasted years. God is well able to forgive that and catch you up restoring the years that we not be ashamed before Him.
Another issue which I have mentioned before but it seems like I should mention again concerning Heaven is that we are not striving to get to Heaven. Heaven is our home and has been since the day we were born again. On that day our spirit man was seated at the right hand of the Father in Christ Jesus as well as quickened in us in the earth. Yes, our spirit man is in two places at once. We hear all the time in Christian conversations and in Church that our main goal, our main aspiration is to make it to Heaven. When we were born again, we entered the Kingdom of God, construction on our mansion began immediately, and we were given assignments in the earth we are to accomplish before we come home. Much like working for a business here in the earth, we have assignments to accomplish before we can go home. Our objective is to add value (promote) to that company just as we are to add value in furthering the Kingdom of God. When that assignment is complete, we can go home. Before I move into the sixth time-frame of eight that the Lord gave me to write about let me list them again as a reminder.
- Eternity before Genesis 1:1
- Genesis 1:1 to 1:2 (may have been billions of years)
- Genesis 1:3 to Genesis 3:6 the Day of Sin and Death
- Genesis 3:6 to Jesus putting His Blood on the Mercy Seat
- Resurrection to the Rapture
- Rapture or Catching Away to the Second Coming
- One Thousand Year Reign
- Eternity Future

From the Rapture to the Second Coming
This sixth time period that I will deal with is that which occurs from the Catching Away of the saints, commonly called the Rapture, until Jesus sets His foot back down on the Mount of Olives. There are many views of when the Catching Away (Rapture) occurs. I am of the belief that the Catching Away or Rapture of the Church occurs before the Tribulation period and occurs before the revealing of The Antichrist. Think for a moment of two Bible accounts when God saved the righteous from wrath. One was with the flood of Noah’s time and a second with the rescue of Lot and his family (that would heed the warning) before the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.
1 Thessalonians 1:10 (KJV)
10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
It seems that part of the work at Calvary was to rescue those who would be rescued (declare Jesus as Lord) from the wrath that is to come upon mankind. God has been exceedingly merciful to gather all that will come to Him, even to the extent of sending Jesus, the Word to pay the price of sin. All that is required is that we accept the sacrifice and step into the Kingdom of Light. We pick up our cross (our assignment) and follow after Him just as we followed after the devil and the world systems before salvation. You will notice in the text above that in the eyes or mind of God the deliverance from the wrath to come is a done deal although we in the temporal (time) sphere are waiting. In any event there will be a catching away, an intervening time, and then the Second Coming of Jesus. It is this intervening time period I am dealing with in this segment. Lord willing, I will pick up right here next Saturday.
Until our next publication, confess the following passage and walk before Whom we have to do with great rejoicing and thanksgiving. This physical body is our humiliation but soon it will be no more for the glory of God and our eternal benefit.
